My guess for My Summer Love...I think it's gonna be no higher than a 12...maybe 13. I'm guessing this based on other songs of similar speed and foot rating...namely Orion.78 (AMeuro Mix). As for Ain't No Mountain High Enough...a 10...it's too easy for an 8-footer.

Hah, the original Dead End is down to a 12. Same as Candy *. DEMOTED! And Chaos heavy is a 14 - the same as Bag and Kanoko. I think they might have actually done this right! Honestly, rating 300+ songs on the new 1-20 scale, I expected there to be some goofs or at least typos. (Like when Burning Heat was a 7 footer.) But these new ratings are shockingly solid. (No pun intended.)

The only thing I disagree with, is B4U being a 9 while Sync is an 8/8. If Candy * is a 12, how is B4U an 9? That's quite a range of 8 footers. Unless B4U and sync got busted all the way down to mid-range 7 footers. (Or the info is wrong.)

Four 18s already, and there is a gap at PRO. Eek.

How about Matsuri Japan from 5th mix? It's definitely a 12 or 13. Maybe 12?

Hey guys, someone just posted a sort of DDR X-> DDR SN2 foot scale "translator" of sorts.


8s on DDR X are lower 7s
9s are higher 7s
10s are lower 8s
11s are higher 8s
12s are lower 9s
13s are higher 9s
14s are easy 10s
15s are mid-10s
16s are hard 10s
17s are "insane" 10s
18s are "super insane" 10s
19-20 are impossible to calculate.

19s and 20s are so impossible to calculate, they may require a hospital trip after they're played.

IMHO...,
Matsuri Japan = 13
Sync = 9/10
B4U = 9
CANDY* = 10

I like that. And I'll add:

14 = stamina draining 9, or mental 10
15 = where physical 10 footers begin
16 = 11s, like Paranoia Respect and Super Max Me Mix. Way more stamina than LoM.
17s, 18s = 12s or 13s. Not enough data points. But FaxX is a 17/18.

19-20 are impossible to calculate.

There's already a song like that kills.

Unfortunately, most of us hasn't gotten that far through the song to see what it would do if you actually "tried" to hit those steps.

But most of you don't see it that way because the chart is utter crap.

They wouldn't have made the ratings go up to 20 if they weren't going to give us a song worthy (or just rated for the sake of filling up space) that rating.

We'll have to wait and see. And hope that those who try it can live to tell the tale of "the song that broke your legs".

Arrr, it was like notin' you little scurvy eyes have seen, It was 7:30 at night, the arcade was packed with landlubbers and total n00bs, and the only thing that could be visible to the naked eye, was the DDR X machine. Aye, you could see it a mile-and-a-half away if you were blind, nonetheless, there was a story of the "song that broke your legs". Many have tried, but none ever succeeded. With 3/4 of my gatorade in mi stomach, and mi beat-down Nikes on mah' feet. I was going for it. IT WAS INSANITY! ARROWS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE! ARROWS THAT WERE BLUE, GREEN, RED, YELLOW,...well you get the idea. But there be more! So many moves, so much of my body twisting around like some old-fart having sex in the champagne room that i could feel one of mi legs giving out. With that, i tried to hang on to the bAAARRRRR, but it was no hope, the speed and intensity of the song was too much.

...I awoke three hours later only to find mi-self in the hospital, when mi asked, the doctors told mi that both mi legs have broken...

AND THAT WAS ONLY THE FIRST TEN SECONDS O.O

But now i can get into those blue PAARRRRking spots =D
