IIRC the timing windows are:

- Marvelous: 15 ms
- Fantastic: 21.5 ms
- Perfect: 30 ms
- Excellent: 45 ms

Let's just say Dr. D is a really good DDR player (and if he practices ITG like he does DDR, he would be a really good ITG player as well). And leave it at that haha

In short, ITG has hard steps but easier to FA and DDR has easier steps but very tough to MA.

When ever I play DDR for a while and switch back to ITG it feels very easy to get a good FA. When I play charts on ITG I don't have to focus as much to FA. DDR is the opposite, if MAing is my goal I am constantly focused and concentrating on every single note and beat I hit. Trying to get an MFC in DDR (even beginner songs) is VERY stressful and takes a lot of concentration. They slightest mistake will ruin your run. The is NO room for error.

That's why I don't try for MFC often, it's just too hard and stressful.

The best I've had MA-wise is between 8-10 perfects on songs like Dynamite Rave Air Special, Reach Up or Koko Soko.

Fuck, I can't even MFC How To Play, 2 perfects is my best on that on a DDR X upgrade.

Are you sure Koko Soko S-Heavy is hard to SDP... I don't think I'm that good and I have only 2 greats on it.

I just wonder about new song on X2.

Maybe it will be shocking as appereance X-Special or HP series songs like on X before.

After Theory of Eternity and I'm So Happy, what's next ? Confused

They are most likely done with the game if that's what your questioning... As in there will most likely be no more news songs until X3 or a new DDR games comes out.I would expect an announcement within the next couple months about a new DDR game or information.

The best way is to throw on a high speedmod and play visually and it makes the game a lot easier to MA. On upgrades the game is generally bang on so it's not hard to MA stuff.

DDR X dedis have awful lag and often the hardware itself (being seemingly not designed for a DDR game) throws me a lot of random perfects sometimes. There's a video of a top PA player getting 20 greats on Let The Beat Hit Em Classic R&B from when DDR X first came out outside Japan/Asia. They mostly fixed the timing bugs in X2 but it still isn't perfect.

I don't think you can really judge X2 since we've not played final software, and on the software we did play it was pretty bang on.

True, I found that X upgrade at EAG was easier to MA on than that X2 beta cab. Did X2 get released in Europe in the end?

I actually find it significantly easier to MA/PA in X/X2 than in SN2. Only played on X Betson dedicabs.

If anyone is curious on what the records are for the new Challenge charts here they are. Granted these are 1 week old so a few of them may have changed.

I'm surprised nobody has gotten Anti-Matter yet. It's the easiest by far, haha.

BROSONI. did get Anti-Matter. There's 700 steps, so you can get so many Perfects even with decent MA that the score seems low.

It's a shame too cause I think I saw one time where here was at only 69 perfects but had some greats. I bet he'll get a true 999 soon.

Also Anti-Matter Expert was finally PFCed (after oni was) by brosoni, I believe he had 51 perfects.
