0:12 -> 0:24 is POSSESSION for me (listen background).

TAG / TAG underground songs (POSSESSION, ropponggi EVOVLED, Theory of Eternity) sound so alike IMO

Holy crap it does sound very similar. Same pattern and stuff but hey if it sounds good I figure why not. Not to mention I can here more of POSSESSION further in the song. Maybe it's DJ Yoshitaka making us believe TAG is Super Star Mitsuru. Let's wait a few more songs and we'll see XD

I was actually considering doing that along with the other new songs coming to jubeat though since I wont be playing any new songs on jubeat or X2 for a while I'm sure someone will beat me to it, ha.

You can still do it for the lulz. Big Grin

Okay, I played around today with DDR

Theory of Eternity wasn't unlocked until I went over to the Jubeat machine and played it on there first

Also, there was an X2 system update last night or this morning from what I understand and none of the side light panels were working on any of the machines in Ikebukuro. Minor inconvenience (the boot screen said "Satellite Error (something something)"). After pressing the "test" button, the machine went into the game mode and everything seemed find, except the eAmuse scores would randomly not show (the eAmuse record) and some of my scores were not showing at times (worked one round, not the next). I am also pretty sure it didn't save my first PFC of Theory of Eternity on Double Light (just to finish off the song on all difficulties). I did it again next game, so no biggie, but I hope nothing else is missing.

Then I sufficiently destroyed the song (PFC on all difficulties single/double)

Double Challenge with the shock arrows was the only really tricky chart since the shocks are so awkwardly placed in relation to the other steps.

Nice song, just a bit long.

squint eyes Evil Puppy

Maybe he's just there to cover up Yoshitaka or something, but I still believe the TAG = Mitsuru thing

Okay, I see not even the Bemaniwiki has the step difficulties for Theory of Eternity yet. I guess I'd better do that...

Single is 3/6/9/12/10
Double is 6/9/12/11

There was nothing wrong with the DDR machines in Osaka. All lights working.

(Nothing insofaras eAmuse was concerned. I found a pair of X2 cabinets side by side and just like Ike Sports one machine looked brand new and one had the water effect on the screen. What is the deal with this? Are there certain screen models that are defective? It also had a yellow tint over the entire screen and was overall darker than the other one which had perfect white balance and was bright as day.)

Not possible, not until DDR starts using 12" mixes.

Oddly enough, the X2 machine found in Birmingham, Alabama, USA had an odd screen defect that darkened the screen and gave the background a yellow tint. The screen would fix itself once and a while, but it would resort back to the discoloration. I notice that pictures I took auto corrected the color problems and thus don't display the bad coloration. Maybe it's a defect with the PC hardware and not the monitors.

I completely disagree, both the expert and especially the challenge chart is perfect!

That sounds to me like a cheap power supply.

Boring, repetitive chart for a boring, repetitive song. Nothing's wrong with the chart, but nothing's particularly memorable either.

It sounds like a generic contractually obligated DDR song really.

So many DDR songs (and trance songs in general) have that part where the percussion goes 4th-4th-4th-4th-8th-8th-8th-8th-16th-16th-16th-16th-32nd-32nd-32nd-32nd-Freeze

I think the problems in Japan are related to a limited supply of electricity...
Maybe they added an operator menu to turn off the side lights?
