It still doesn't change the fact Japan has a 99% of things unlocked and currently the US is still at 0%.

Then I guess Australia has -10% of unlocks. Anyone with local-mode JP cabinets still don't even have half the HP3 crossovers, Fire Fire, or the BeForU revivals. And darn it, I want to play Sky is the Limit without being roped into A Brighter Day standard!

I feel your pain. We have an Asian upgrade with e-amuse and everything. The X2 folder is getting stale to me.

The DDR FROM STAFF blog has posted a special image of RINON, praying for the victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

"Give me a steady beat."
That's totally rad.

Edit: Some of the blur effects and the aspect ratio of that pic makes me suspicious that the artist was using the fingerpaint app Brushes for the iPad to draw that. If so, that's double rad.

Best thing to come out of Japan since the first tsunami picture of Dark/Evil RINON (which of course I love so much.)

Approved7times

I just hope things in Japan get righted up even with all that crap about the nuclear power plants. I have friends (personal ones too) there and I want them safe. Thanks Konami for caring about your country and whoever posted that amazing picture.

After a few weeks, I went back to Latitude 30's DDR X2.

The pads have definitely showed wear since I have been there last and the manager still has not increased the volume, which leaves some songs normal while others are difficult to hear. I recall getting pissed because I could beat many of my old records, except for HVAM Expert, because of random pad goods and misses. I'll make sure to phone the manager of the arcade later this week about possibly cleaning or doing some low maintainance on the pads within the next few weeks.

Compared to the other 18s, Anti-matter is incredibly easy to PA.

I must say though, any non-ITG player doing 200 BPM bursts is pretty impressive since DDR doesn't really have any good 200 BPM charts, unless you count PR expert and its awful patterns.

I dunno. I guess I won't be impressed until he passes something like OML.
