ROUND E comments - Overall, files were decent. Like last week, there weren't any that were truly "bad". Only a few stood out positively in my opinion, though.
Dead Wrong
Pretty good song. The bg video is pretty cool, so I wanted to watch that instead of focusing on the steps. lol. *After I replay it* Good steps. Some of the crossovers were meant to be either doublestepped/re-crossovered, right?

FIGHT!
Well that was really interesting. I've never seen gimmicks like that before. I was initially hesitant about this song, but you made it so interesting with the gimmicks.
The gimmicks really made this song. The song itself isn't the best, but you made it really interesting. idk even how you did this stuff. (I'll check the edit mode to see what you did later)

Ghost Street Mandarin Version
Pretty uplifting-sounding song. Chart is okay. Maybe a tiny bit more could've come out of it. A couple of the double crossovers threw me off, but other than that, what you have is pretty good.

Go Beyond!! - Well, I've stepped this song before...I will try to be as unbiased as possible when looking at this.
I think many of the stop-speed-up gimmicks were a little forced. THe 100 BPM in the middle was definitely warranted. As for the chart's rhythms and patterns. Rhythms were pretty similar to what I had in mind. Towards the beginning, the 8th jumps didn't seem to fit right. I also noticed that for much of the 8th streams, you made patterns that once again forced the player to face the same direction for a while. I'm not sure if you had wanted it to be that way or not.
I think you tried too hard to add in gimmicks. I guess that's the problem, when so many other people have stepped this song: you have to find a way to make yours different.
Since you said that this was a 16 on the X-scale, I was not expecting the long 16th streams in the middle section of the song. This is more of an 18, even if the patterns are easy. The stamina needed is really high. I also didn't think the 50 BPM section was necessary nor the 32nds during that section. But I guess I'm getting to a point where I'm biased, so I'll stop there.

Hopelessly Devoted to You - Okay those graphics don't exactly represent the mood of the song tbh. They're a little too creepy and this song seems more melancholy.
Well, I guess there's not much really going for this song. It's okay, but repetitive and somewhat boring. The song is nice though.

New Horizons - Song is new sounding. I guess it's nice that you can do exactly what you want for a song you wrote.
Chart was slightly late for me. The chart itself was decent. Nothing really out of place, except maybe the longer 16th streams, which seem a bit too much for a 9 IMO.

Oppa's Car - Don't like the song too much. Mind Your Own Business was a much better song tbh.
Chart isn't bad though, so props on that.

Sapphire - Interesting song. Not sure if I like it.
The chart wasn't bad. I kinda liked it. ONe problem I found was that some of your streams were 32nds when I think the should have been 48th gallops-type things. The first of it's kind you did execute it with 48ths, but subsequently, you did not.

Say My Name - another slow song, wow. I'm guessing chewi submitted this.
That's a really long intro. I think you did a pretty good job with the song. It's not perfect, but it's a respectable job.

Star Scat - Jeez, you got another song full os 12ths. This one is way nicer than Sigatrev.
whoa what was that ending? I don't like that ending. among other things I felt that this song was overstepped. The song is so laid back and I didn't feel that all of those long 12th streams (at 156 BPM) were necessary. It clashes with the mood of the song.
This looked a lot like but I like this better, because most of the long 12th streams were gone. Maybe this song would have worked a little better if everything was half speed. idk.

Super Fantasy - Attack of the remade classical music with an OT"P" twist.
I kinda wished I had played this before I saw your YouTube upload of this. It would've been kind of fun to figure out the gimmicks on my own. Good chart overall. I'm probably going to play this over and over again until I PFC it on keyboard. (1st try is 982,800)
Darn, I forgot about that 24th stream at the end. I really like this file.

Those 32nds in the Challenge chart really need to chill out. Given the rest of the chart is much easier by comparison (not that an X-Scale 13 is "easy") I'd have dumbed those 32nds down. Right now they're just really out of place.

Yeah you had nothing to work with here, this was a really unsteppable song. A+ graphics though, gives the song a whole new meaning.

Most of the gimmicks were pretty disgusting. The stops on the camera sound effects were cool, but then you have these wannabe Over the "Period" gimmicks, barely readable speedups… For comparison, I looked at the PIU chart which also has a bunch of gimmicks. Those gimmicks were handled much better; they fit the song and they're still readable. On the bright side, this file at least had decent steps, so I'll give you that. Remove the gimmicks and the file would be pretty playable.

This chart makes more left turns than a NASCAR driver, and like NASCAR it gets old really quickly. There's other directions you can have the player face than left, you know. That one 400 BPM section on Challenge was also kinda dumb and unneeded.
Star Scat [Nezemarth]
I'm not gonna lie, keeping the song at 78 BPM actually would have potentially made for a fun bag-esque file. Potentially. You'd first have to fix up the double-steps, some steps that don't really go to anything, seemingly random shock arrows on Challenge, and 16ths that I'm pretty sure aren't 16ths (the notes you stepped 16ths to sound more freeform than exact 16ths). Noticeable amount of copy & paste syndrome between Expert and Challenge too. Don't just copy & paste an entire chart, change a few things and call it a new chart. Give the player something new. 24th trill at the end of Expert? Yeah, wasn't a good time to do that.
