Man, So we have some messed up default list until we get e-muse. Alright
O, and it doesnt even keep high score rankings. I dont get super scores anyway, but I mean, it just give you a grade with no points. Lame

This is the same build that Japan got, right?
They time-unlocked those songs in 4 days, while we got it in 10. I wonder what this difference is from?
Anyway, I will be mad impressed if they really manage to go through with Zukin Wars.

And wtf at Outer Limits having the Festival steps. In my opinion, US steps > Festival steps. They could have at least added the US heavy chart as an oni chart or something... |

Time unlock via e-AMUSE. There's no time unlocks for machines without e-AMUSE. |
I don't think they'll be Time Unlocks, We all ready saw them at Oni Mode. I'll guess will have to wait.

I find that chart to be purely amazing... I've keyboarded it a million times and loved it, even the speed part. I honestly wouldn't change it at all. But I guess different people like different charts =/ |
Really? I personally find the speed up to be a bunch of disorganized steps. I dont mind the difficulty, i mean im a decent player, but they just make no sense to me! I love the song, and the steps till the speed up, but once that hits, it just looks like a mess if you ask me. I try to pick up the steps, but they seem to be just randomly placed, and it bugs me! Ive never tried keyboarding it though, i guess if i play it a bit more, it will grow on me.

But i hate how there are no unlocks, i wish i could practice Unreal a bit more. I managed to B it today, but its just so annoying with those jumps. I wonder if Gameworks will start getting the E-Amuse in, i mean Sega are pretty big, so i dont see why Konami wouldnt start with them. Id understand being skeptical with smaller arcades, but Gamworks are somewhat popular, and reputable.
I dont see why they released SN2 without it. But i guess its fun with the SN1 songs finally being playable. (like Healing-D, Fascination Maxx etc)
By the way, just to say it again (since it wasnt added to the front page, i guess because i forgot to mention some things) But there was an upgraded cab in Sunrise Florida's Gameworks, in the Sawgrass Mills Mall. Its in Local Mode, and has the same version number as posted in the first post. Yeah, idk, just thought i should say it.

goemon4, Trim is a breath of fresh air. It has a great solid chart and flows wells. I don't wanna be mean but people who complain about the songs expert chart can't do 10s in the first place.

@ DCstar
Uh, just to say it, i can pass just about every 10 footer in Extreme (excluding only PSMO), and the majority in SN1 (excluding Fascination Maxx and the Eternal Love Mix and Healing-D challenge steps). I just dont get the stepchart is all. I mean, i love the song, dont get me wrong. I just dont get the steps after the speed up. Like i said, i guess ill keyboard it for a bit, then try it the next time im at Gameworks. Cause i like the steps till it speeds up, it just looks like randomness to me. Ive tried it a few times, but just find it to annoying when i play it (as of now).
(Again, not saying its a bad song, i just personally dont like the chart)

goemon4, Trim is a relief compared to all those SN and SN2 ten footers. I wanna enjoy some good old fashion 300bpm songs.

Again, you're probably just getting thrown off by the blue arrows being the on-beat. Listen to it with assist tick, or just try out my edit. It uses the same charts, but fixes the blue arrow syndrome by ending the pause a half-beat earlier and moving the notes afterwards down a half-beat.

Idk, I keep playing it, but im just not getting the steps. They seem akward and random, i personally find the speed up unnecessary. But hey, some songs cant be winners with everybody.
As far as old fashioned 300bpm songs go, idk if id go that far in comparison, because Unlimited was reasonably, yet still tough (Same with Max 300, and TLOM), Trim is just, awkward in every aspect to me now. The more i play it, the weirder it gets. But again, not every song is a hit with everyone. (Personally, i find a lot of the newer ten footers to be fun, i personally love Healing-D-Vision and Pluto, as well as ~Hades~ insane chart, but Trim... Idk, i guess i just dont like it XD )
Its an odd song to (in a good way) I havent heard to many drum and bass like songs in DDR.
@ TimeSpaceMage - Im not, its like that part in Paranoia Survivor (Max also) where the steps change like that, the steps themselves just make no sense to me. Im good with oddly placed steps and such, i can usually pick up on them, but ill check out your edit now.

Oh right, and don't forget to change the extension back to .DWI XD
Geocities doesn't like any file extension it doesn't recognize.

Just got back from Gameworks, had some fun with SuperNova2. I played healing D-vision on expert and failed it at the run...about the last 30 steps. Note
ont work out your legs a day before a long session of DDR...not good.
But yea, Trim is hard, there no doubt. Its a different step chart all together, Its new and people are having to adjust to it, Like the first time I played Chaos on expert, which i almost past tonight as well.
So all these new additions to SN2 that the have are kinda awesome. O yea i love the lyrics to My Favorites Things, haha..they are silly
O and GIRI GILI is a fun song. wierd pauses make it fun.

Well playing through it (Trim), im starting to get the idea of the steps, but i need to pad it more, luckily i got alot of credits on my card, so ill be at Gameworks for awhile, guess ill try it more there. It does take some getting used to, but Chaos now, that was just
(But atleast the steps are reasonable, its those 40 something stops!)
@ deliriousX D - Yeah, i guess your right, wasnt thinking to hard last night
@ TimeSpaceMage - Nice edit, its fun, wish i could try it on a pad though (I need to find an ITG2 cabinet near by

I disagree with the 'feeling like a 9' statement... now it's just an easier 10.
Just because harder 10s come along, I don't think songs should get downgraded. It's just that there's not a lot of 10s.

I think it's more a matter of the difficulty of 9s starting to take a noticeable spike northwards... stuff like Arrabbiata and Unreal are staggeringly hard compared to most older 9s...
