A3 has had a lot of good charts mixed with some real bad ones.

I still think that The World Ends Now, Volaquas, and Eon Break are the three best 18s to come out of A3 so far. Glitch Angel CSP is close to that level but has a few missteps, like a few ambiguous sections after jumps and mixing jacks and footswitches without visual tells. Breaking The Future ESP is my personal favorite 17 from this release, and overall, the 17-18 charts from A3 have been an improvement from earlier forays into those difficulty folders. I even like Beach Side Bunny and Reiwa CSP in their own jank way.

Do you think possibly for most of the charts they've been auto-genned?

That's a silly question. If that were the case, the chart flow wouldn't be the way it is. Autogen charts don't follow beats or song structure like they do. They are all hand made. This isn't stepmania lol

Yeah that is pretty jank, also Take Me Higher by Shimamura's ESP is also jank. But i doubt it's autogen, it's just bad chart design. it happens.

Yeah but single and double follow the same concepts and I doubt autogen would build charts like that.

speaking in hindsight, TAKE ME HIGHER isn't that terrible. It's difficult, but the patterns flow decently once you get them down. complexity != janky. I'll take it any day over TRIP MACHINE xac nanoglide, that's for sure.

also aside from like one kind of questionable section near the end, Muteki Buffalo is fine. I guess in short: skill issue.

The hit-to-miss ratio is not particularly good but yeah there have been some great ones. Acid, Tribal and Dance comes to mind.

Also probably like nobody here plays A3 let's not pretend we have to be active players to know when a chart stinks or not, you literally only need the ability to tell where your feet would go

Haven't gotten the chance to give A3 a shot yet (though thankfully my nearest R1 does now have it), but hoping there are some solid 13s and 14s for the less gifted (me). Also, I'm sure this has been said 100 times already, but not sure how to feel about shock arrows in lower DSP charts now (Death by Glamour 11, etc etc). I guess it's a fun idea if you want to give the gimmick a try but aren't ready to take on higher level charts?

I only played from supernova back and I already knew about their return in this version but after that no arcade from supernova 2 came to Rio de Janeiro.

So there was no way to know this information. I just guessed about the presence of baby lon in the image.
