Well, they are named after a Mitch Hedberg Joke and a Scrubs skit so they are obviously a joke.
I did find one band that uses the same idea as Dr. Acula but they can actually somewhat do it well, as oxymoronic as that sounds:
I lol'd at the growled BOOM SNAP CLAP part right after the same lyrics were done in a rap fashion
