To be fair next time, I think people allowed to vote should be people who have been here longer than a few days. ;)

But that is just me. Just feels fishy is all.

@Aegis I felt the same way, but at this point I'm kinda just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ about it.

That being said, I guess I'm out. It's a bittersweet moment--bitter because I came that close to making it to finals, and sweet for the exact same reason. Considering a good amount of people--including myself tbh--didn't even expect me to make it past Round 1, let alone lose to Tel in the Semifinals by a mere point, I'd say I'm more than happy with my performance this year. Can't wait to see what Tel and Feraligatr have in store for us this final round! :^)

Funny how the finals were decided by three BRAND NEW members.
It really is a testament to skill then. One veteran, and one rising star, now permitted to host SC.

Two of the emails are ridiculously similar (withdrawless/withdrewless), I'm calling bullshit, and I have enough reason to believe that the third is bs too. No cast iron proof for third yet, so hold fire until I can give the all clear yeah?

So I assume that until investigation is over the contest is put on hold? Because to me it looks that something really fishy has happened. 6 users with low post count and all of them being less than 2 months on ZiV voting on Feraligatr file. I mean yes, this file was kinda good, but none of those users voted in previous rounds.

Also removing files after round really annoys me. In future contests it should be if you pull out any of your files - you are out.

Who ever is doing this I Know you want someone /you want to be immortalized, but it really isn't that deep. You shouldn't put yourself in jeopardy on this site for a competition that is just for fun because you are ruining it for everyone else.

Seconding this for all future ZiV tournaments, Immortals or otherwise.

I personally don't see anything wrong with removing files after each round because generally it's done so the stepartist can revise it and release them in a separate category, thus avoiding having two versions of the same file floating around. With that being said I'm sure there's some sort of happy medium that can suit everyone.

Right, the way I see it is that at least two votes are bs-ed, and as both of them were exactly the same voting pattern, I'd see fit to disqualify both their results. If it was me, the change in votes means ddrstepper qualifies 10-9, Aegis qualifies 9-8.

The final decision is going to be Pandy's though.
