Could you make new BG wallpaper for SN1 / SN2 / X songs too based on X2 ARC album jacket ?

You can using 2 different style : BG wallpaper style (Rectangle size) or Album jacket style (Square size)

I just wonder what it looks like CHAOS, HDV, FAXX, PLUTO, Hana ranman, etc.

Yea I wanted to use the tunneling grid piece so i deleted the rest of that layer and I was expecting someone to post that... please don't hold it against me but in my defense, thats some pretty Yellow Candy! More bgs to come soon

Thanks glad u like them. I have all the matching banners for my bgs but I'm going to hold on to them until someone actually needs them for the simfiles. I'll be posting new stuff later on too

I was wondering if I could get some feedback on 16x9 custom backgrounds. It's undeniable that widescreen is the future: laptops, TV's, StepMania, and even DDR is now being designed for / with widescreen in mind.

If enough people actually want this to happen, would it be better to create and sticky a separate thread, or just keep posting in this one?

If you intend to start a project around it/be a primary contributor, go ahead and make a new thread. You have my support. It would make DDR simfiles on widescreen ITG cabinets look a lot better.

Well, I'm not really an artist. My widescreen backgrounds so far have consisted of just extending patterns to fill the new space from 640x480 to 852x480 (or 320x240 to 426x240), with limited use (and limited success) of content-aware fill

I've asked Al about releasing my GFX in bigger/widescreen dimensions but he said 640x480 is good enough. As far as re-releasing the 600+ bgs I've done... thats easier said than done
