If they get e-Amuse then I'll definitely come up there; otherwise I've got Pump in my town =p
No e-Amuse, There's a pump machine near by here but, 1.It's in a Dave & Busters, 2. it's in Kansas, 3. customer service sucks. It was an NX machine last I check, but that was even before Pump Pro came out.>_<

Tekken 6 comes right after my Namco arcade gets bought out. perfect.Annoyed

Oh yeah, the NX with no volume in the new outdoor mall? Haha, I was drawing a crowd for full-comboing Normal/Hard songs because nobody knew how to play it. Since then I've gotten a lot better, found a lot of fun charts like Extravaganza CZ, and memorized the speed mod code (lol) since it wasn't on the NX.

At least I could get free water at the bar - that was pretty cool.

Gah, I'm sure a lot of my friends are pissed about that o__o;
For ITG2, I only really went to Game Zone in Great Mall. (Side note: I just noticed ddrkc is back up, and jbean says Game Zone has an NX2 now!)

Man, did they at least turn the volume up on the DDR machine? How are the pads? (I'm assuming it's still that horrible $1/3 songs...)

Yeah, AS has a SN2 Dedicab. Yes, Game Zone has a brand new NX2 cabinet. AS's Namco Arcade never got bought out. Sales weren't what they wanted so they backed out of renewing their lease and Lee Vending (Arcade Solutions, whatever they are called now) moved in.

So, I take it GZ is still doing well if they have enough money for a new cab. That's great! I just hope the mall picks up business.

A bowling place with Extreme... ha, you had to remind me of my old hangout at Warrensburg. That was owned by Coin Operated Equipment, though. Without that arcade around (finished school) and with Laser Mania closing, I don't have DDR in my town any more =/

They just recently did the upgrade on the SuperNova machine at gameworks in AZ Mills Mall in Tempe. I have played it quite a bit so far. Its pretty fun, but its so empty knowing that the songs on the default list is a small upgrade from the home version. I am asking the managers there when they are going to be going online, probably wont get any good answers considering its out of there control.
And i love Why Not, its a great song and Two Months off
Trim is just stupid hard.

Trim, imo, has the worst step chart in the world. Its a great song, but like Unreal, the steps are plain retarded. Ive been spending alot of time playing SN2, its fun, but the quality of the step charts is dropping imo. Though i wish i could play songs like Pluto and Uranus, i mean, whats the point in playing if i cant play the awesome songs?
I hate DDR, but just cant stop playing it...

I find that chart to be purely amazing... I've keyboarded it a million times and loved it, even the speed part. I honestly wouldn't change it at all. But I guess different people like different charts =/

Yeah, people tend to express their opinions in the wrong way A LOT of the time. Phrases like "X is the worst chart" or "X is retarded" translates to "I hate X's chart".

Trim has a sight issue where the step colors are reversed once it speeds up (due to the pause), but otherwise I love how it has good varied rhythms. We need more rhythm 10s over lolstepjump 10s. The jacks are about the limit of what I would consider acceptable speed-wise, though.

So jbean, what is Monkey Bizness? It sounds like that "Food, fun and a monkey" place that I never did check out >_>

I don't mind the jacks. We had worse in Insaner Remix. What I don't particularly like about it is that there's a complete gulf of difficulty between the 340 BPM part and the rest of the song. If the slower parts were made harder (even to just make it a hard-ish 9), or the speed-up was toned down, I'd love it, but instead of being great, it was just...alright.

Haha, dont get me wrong, I love Trim, but it just too much for me. I can handle the Outer Limits.
It's a hard song but the steps make it worth trying to play, and I have and passed it. If there were more 10 footers on the level with that or just a really hard 9 like Arrabbiata,(I love that song, its the best all around) I would be happy.

I dont hate on how people chose to play there games, but for me, if i have to hold on the bar I wont play, it takes the fun away from me when i play. I guess i get to into it. But from what i have seen, i may have to with some of these new songs if i want to at least past them. Any tips? suggestions?

I can even handle Healing D-Vision on expert, but i just cant do Trim, I dont feel the steps. I love it on difficult though, lol. I want to play Pluto, but we will see when GameWorks Tempe gets its e-muse upgrade, maybe waiting a while though.

Arrabbiata? Nah, didn't like that one so much. Especially in Doubles!

Honestly, I find holding the bar to be more beneficial. At first I totally avoided using it, but then I found out how much it improves my stamina and accuracy. So there's really no need to feel awkward when using it.

And wtf at Outer Limits having the Festival steps. In my opinion, US steps > Festival steps. They could have at least added the US heavy chart as an oni chart or something...

Yea, i should try and use it a lil bit more. I found it best when I was trying Max 300 Super Max Me Mix on challenge. I didnt pass, lol, but i got a chunk of the steps on key. O and i only feel akward because of my arm, my elbow was injured a while back, so i have to limit how i play, its not fun.

I can only pass a few level 10 songs, Max 300 being one of them. I work on it for a while, and I have high stamina anyway, I work out alot, so that helps.

Even though you are holding on to the bar, you still have to be able to move quick enough to hit those steps. I am a full body type guy. I like dancing, and i actually dance as well.

And i wont say that i cant play doubles, I just dont choose to, but that takes the game to a whole new level, a level i wish to stay away from, haha. I commend the people that can do it, i think its awesome, but not for me.

O yea, so until they take the SN2 online, we will be playing a small list of new songs?
