On an unrelated note, this has been bothering me for a while - on DDRMAX USA, there are two songs that I can't seem to time at all: Electro Tuned (The SubS Mix) and Love This Feelin'. I'm pretty sure that Love This Feelin' is either offset early or drifts a LOT. Electro Tuned inexplicably slows down for ONE MEASURE (which I'm pretty sure is also at least a little offbeat) and then speeds back up, but for whatever reason the next few measures feel really off-sync. I haven't to this day AAed either of those songs because they're just unplayable -_-
Love This Feelin' is badly synced on that game. It drifts all over the place.
Electro Tuned slows down to avoid blue arrow syndrome, but it's on sync after that. When the song starts, 8th arrows should be on beat but they're not, so to avoid setting the rest of the song to blue arrows it slows down which makes that one section crazy off-sync.

Electro Tuned is un-AAable on the American DDRMAX, or at all? Once I learned that it was slowing slightly for a single measure it was easy to stay on beat.

It's not un-AAable, it's just that I was never able to figure out what was trowing the steps on beat. I knew it slowed down, but I didn't know for how long. I don't like the chart for it anyway, so I never play it

KIMONO PRINCESS's banner or BG is based off exothic ethnic (OR-IF-IS Mix)

KONAMI's art team should have done something on the arms and hands like making it anime-styled or something

Also,
What's up with this?

That is an awesome observation, Nick.
They took a dynastic-looking piece of art and turned it into Anime. Well done Konami. At least this'll help silverdragon make a background for it.
(The Vem brincar thing is just stupidity)

Don't know if this has ever been brought up, but What Will Come Of Me has a demo chart that never saw a final release.
Here's a picture of the original What Will Come of Me expert rating as seen on the E3 X2 demo.

Note the 10 rating as opposed to the 13 rating seen on the final release. It seems that the current expert chart was meant to be a challenge chart, with this easier chart slapped as the expert. You can see evidence of this from the infamous Gamescom DDR PS3 trailer:

The text on the bottom obscures the CHALLENGE rating, but note the purple section of the groove radar, particularly visible on the freeze section.

Just now realized that the DDR in that trailer is using the classic difficulty scale.

And the groove radar shows values for all charts, just like the past Xbox games.
I like how you said infamous when describing the trailer.

It makes sense actually. Programming a game for the 360 is essentially programming a game for Windows (2003 to be exact) and DDR has been running on XP Embedded since DDR X.
DDR X2 may have been built from the UNIVERSE 3 codebase.

Possibly, although since the interface changed so much, I see very little of Universe 3 when playing X2.

That would be because Universe 3 turned into X2 and they gave Universe 3 a new interface

I found the background Konami used to create the "PARADISE" banner

How? All they did was remove a comma. Here, they completely redrew the girl seemingly for no reason... making her look worse in the process.
