Shoot.... With Hou not being a 20, I don't know what the requirements would be for there to be a 20, especially given how long it took people to pass it before Konami kinda altered the gameplay a bit so people could pass it.

Side note, the new songs/updates in a couple days kinda disappoint me only because they didn't announce new charts for more legacy, pre-DDR X songs. After what we got the other week and how fantastic they are, I was kinda hoping moving forward there would be more coming with each update, ha.

Well, the previous Extra Savior "1st CLASSIC CHALLENGE" title implies there will be more to come, and not locked to Grand Prix.

I'm hoping that we'll eventually get revivals and not just new Challenge charts. New Challenge charts are good and I like it a lot, but having an old song revived after years of absence just feels like Christmas.

Specifically about this one, I think we all somewhat have been wondering what went down to cause Konami to completely remove all songs by good-cool from DDR from SuperNOVA onward. Was it a licensing thing (which I found odd because I thought he was in-house like TAKA)? Did they have a falling out specifically about DDR, but he was okay with his songs staying in IIDX, plus he'd continue composing new tracks for it and other Konami games?

To me, good-cool always had great tracks that were ported to DDR, so for all his tracks to be completely removed, none revived, and no new songs for DDR in 19 yrs is a mystery...

Hopefully someday they will revive some of the Club Version songs. They really need new charts, maybe bump some of them one difficulty lower so they make new expert and challenge charts

good-cool was always a commissioned artist, so likely it either boils down to contractual issues but could also just be personal issues since that is possible

DDR WORLD had an update so the songlist now sorts by rating regardless of the tags you set on it. I guess fuck you if you're looking for a song by title because you don't know what level it's rated.

Edit: Nevermind, someone informed me I accidentally pressed the 3 button to change the sort, which I didn't know was a thing.

Spin the Disc is definitely one of my most wanted revivals. Along with MOBO*MOGA. Why do we get to keep Love is Orange, but not MOBO*MOGA?

I was thinking about MOBO*MOGA, too. That would be another great song for a revival, and with some steps.

Why Love is Orange at all? It's the only Orange Lounge song left on DDR. No more Mobo*Moga or Mondo Street, which sucks since I like both. It's not like Orange Lounge is someone like good-cool or dj nagureo. It's Tomosuke, who still works at Konami, so I have no idea why those two were removed but one stays. Come to think of it, most songs under his alias have been cut from Bemani games.

i can only assume it comes to personal preference, whatever the reasoning may be. like how Naoki wanted LET THEM MOVE gone because he was embarrassed by it, or Sota had LTTS removed (reason: undefined). it's a shame to see so many classics removed, but i'm just happy they were here at all and we got to enjoy them when we did. PLUS those older games with those songs still exist (and simfiles exist too i guess but personally i'd rather play things in the original engines) so there's not much in the way stopping us from playing those bangers.

i wonder if maybe tomosuke had a falling out with the vocalist, because after Orange Air-LINE he jumped right into the Dormir project. i hope that's not the case.
