Agree.

I still wonder why Konami has say nothing about this. It's like they are ashamed of there own game.Neutral

Yeah, that's the way I see it, why should we have to adapt to the lag. We never had to do so for the past 10 years. Tongue
Ever play Hyper OffEurobeat on EX AC? Wasn't 20, November infamous for being offsync too? (Thus Dancefreak's full great combo of it)
I get your point though, before it was just a couple songs, not all of them.

Well, before e-AMUSE, any sync issues were there to stay. These days, they can patch it until it's dead on, and I haven't heard any complaints of songs that are off recently. But yea, HYPER EUROBEAT was insanely off, and D2R was irritatingly early.

I could probably make some extremely functional if a little home-grown-looking pads for CDN$500. I made two metal pads at home, cost me CDN$250 for two, and they're just fantastic. No lights though, and clearly I'd want to upgrade the materials a bit if it was for an arcade machine. Tongue Very easy to maintain, but slightly creaky. Working arcade pads are better, of course, but these US X pads can hardly be called 'working.'

"Tare panda"
Hyper Eurobeat and D2R is quite in sync here (Asia DDRX).

And "After the game of love" should have been error in the BPM at SN2 and before,
now it is perfectly in sync.

Online patch sometimes mention about fixing some songs timing issues,
so sometimes players will wonder which songs have been fixed.

Wow no wonder you have to stomp those pads, that combination of sensors and the small pieces of plastic that trigger the sensors is incredibly ineffective lol. If only they had stayed loyal to the original sensor design the only real issue would be the screen lag.

There you go PanStyle, I have heard that the pads are really good. All you have to do is adapt to the lag or wait for a software update to come out Smile

Oh ok. But i just saw this :

Commentary of the player :
"So DDR X just arrived in France at Lille, Planet Bowling and yeah... it sucks !

Pads are not that sensitive (heel toe = miss attack) and greats appear to be randomized.

So I got a D. Ok. Anyway fuck that I passed it and this chart is freaking awesome and insanely technical with cross-overs and pad switches."

And for the software update, we don't know how long we have to wait. And it's possible that some location never update the cab...

+ in 1 or 2 month we get DDRX in our location. The supernova will be sold. So the only thing left will be an off sync game ? I will never improve my "dancing skills"... Sad (i hope an happy ending and new AAA xD)

I quoted Electrocoin (UK Distro) for DDRX for a price on the badboy sensors and believe it or not. £40 a peice!

Dukamok said there's another fix for the pads that is definitely an improvement. We'll see how much of an improvement there is.

It just sucks they didn't get these improvements done BEFORE the release. There's gonna be so many inconsistent cabs across the entire country. Neutral

What do you mean 'finally'? They've been doing that since 2007!

So, discouting X-Specials and X-Mixes, that's 65 new songs. Didn't they say the next one would have a percentage (I remember it being 50%, but I don't know) more new content?

They did; it's largely assumed it'll be a regular song list padded out with Wii content. Hopefully next time KONAMI won't blow the most of the unlock list on CS game released many months before the AC game ('sup, Fall DDR releases).

A disappointing ending to a disappointing release. DDR 2009 better be good to make up for this, AC DDR is already in trouble.
