All I remember about Double Dare is the theme. And it was an AWESOME theme.

You know what show cracked me up? Nick Arcade. Those video game challenges the kids had to do were usually pathetically easy, yet they would fail so much.

Host: Okay, you chose Joe & Mac! The challenge is to get 500 points in 30 seconds!
Me: Yeah, they've got this. 500 points is only a couple pterodactyls and a caveman.
*FAIL*
Me: WHAT?! How do you manage to fuck up that badly?

Gamesmaster was kinda like that. Except the players weren't that abysmal. There was one funny time when on SM64 someone got given the Big Penguin Slide to do in something like 45 seconds. He fell at the first turn and spent all episode sulking about how the game hadn't been released yet and the guy who he was playing against already had it and had practiced. Fun times.

How long is that slide, anyway? I know you had to clear the slide in Peach's room in under 21 seconds for a star, but I don't remember how long the ice slide was. I was more concerned with staying ahead of the penguin until the finish line.

Something that happened 3 days ago.

So me and my friend were discussing allergies. I mentioned that I had a nut allergy. Sometimes when I ate nuts I'd throw up, and one time one made my lip swell.
My friend then said she wanted to take a picture of me with nuts in my mouth.
I laughed so hard. She thinks I'm dirty minded for finding that funny.

It felt longer for me, so 35 seconds without shortcut I reckon.
