DDR X and me have no memory together.

Really? X isn't even finished with unlocks (and, unlike the previous two, was released after the US CS game) and DDR 2009 CS is right around the corner. If every CS game has an AC counterpart, AC will just trend further and further behind.

I doubt DDR 09 will have an AC counter part. See Extreme 2, Festival, Party Collection, and everything not on PS2.

Really? Is that ALL? Damn, I wish I -would've- signed up on it, then! I don't feel nearly as bad about how I did, then. I figured people not clearing at least 2-3 stages wouldn't have even ranked. I could (probably) do THAT. But really... what WERE they thinking? I could see the Expert charts making a good Oni course... but as obsurdly placed as the steps/jumps are, the Challenge ones should've been a nonstop course, at most.

People just couldn't manage to get that far when the INTERNET RANKING was in place. Hence the highest ranked players for that INTERNET RANKING just coincidentally the ones who made it just past 1st STAGE.

Yeah, I was referring only to the Ranking period; the charts were pretty new and the difficulty was (er, still is) obscene, lending itself to be the most difficult IR ever. Boss rush episode IV was hard, but people got pretty far in that and it looks like some people (or, JBoy, rather) actually passed it during Ranking.

I have yet to see any proof of someone passing that course on a SN2 machine. Although several have died in the death runs of PRO.

Those were made during the 2002-2005 era when DDR AC was on a long hiatus. Games that came out on PS2 outside of that period generally had an arcade counterpart.

Plus we're due for an arcade mix soon anyway.

Yet DDR X was just released like a month ago lolol. If there's going to be another DDR, they better make it extremely awesome.

Alright I shouldve been more specific. A new AC game is due to be announced soon.

Y'know, in Japan.

So what? I doubt it will come stateside and if it does it will be utter shit and "extra" (read: the 4 in each pad that we should have) sensors will be sold as "premium add-ons". And if and when that does happen there will be ~50 of the greatest songs removed due to lisencing cuts, all songs from 1st-5th and maybe some Max-era stuff.

But...

...ZIV is so fun when a new DDR AC game comes out.

In the end, isn't that all that matters?

DDR can suck it if they think they can really give us crap quality cabs and think we'll gladly accept it.

Unfortunately, i agree with the above statement, if this is really what we are getting for the "10th Anniversary" of DDR, then this was just a fail on KOA's, Betson's, and what, somehow Raw Thrills is involved in this too? .......Fuck
