How do you go about learning to do something like that? Do you focus on one song, and try to learn it inside out, or do you just practice until you get it right?

there is a big DDR X tournament in Tokyo tomorrow. I will attend it to enter and take videos of matches.
Hope I do well, some of the best players in japan will be there.

If Zenius-I-Vanisher would like me to sponser them and wear their shirts to tournaments and events, then they need to to send me one for free.
Until then, I'll stick to my traditional and always Dr. Pepper shirts to wear to tournaments.
Quick over view of the tournament.
For starters, I lost badly. Haha. Not sure if you guys remember me mentioning this but I play terrible on the new cabs. To give you a quick idea, I pfced Max 300 yesterday with 20 perfects, today when I played it on the new machine I got 14 greats and a good.
There were two kinds of tournaments I entered. The first was the standard and the other was the expert one.
I might end up ranting a bit cause although I had an amazing time and enjoyed meeting amazing players, the tournament set up was kinda terrible.
Each one you needed to play a qualifier. Saber wing for standard and SW head shot for expert. I did quite well on both of these. 1 on SW and 4 on SW HS. This seeded me rather high on both lists.
Here's where I get upset. To my understanding, the point of the qualifier is to set up the seeds from highest to lowest. This is all good and all unless the following happens. In every tournament I' been to with qualifiers, the high seed will vs. the lowest in round one. In this case it should be #1 vs #32 and so on. this was not the case. In fact, this was completely the opposite. They made is so #1 vs #2, #3 vs #4 and so on...
this makes no sense to me what so ever. Its like saying "congratulations, you have worked hard and seeded high, now you can vs someone else just like you!"
this along with 1st round being a do or die match with 1 song in a lottery makes it a complete coin flip. First round I was out after getting 1 great on hyper euro beat and my opponent PFCed it (with a higher perfect count but I wont get into to that to much).
Anyways, thats all that really bothered me. I guess im used to and miss the good tournaments in america.
Unfortunetly I don not have too many videos, they were very strict on enforcing no cameras. Dont worry, I still snuck a few. none of me, but some of players Un-Lim, brosoni, taka ask? and a couple more. Give me some time to upload these and pictures.
tl;dr It was fun and zenius-i-vanisher needs to mail me a t-shirt (large please)
