Even though DEGRS was horribly done, it did what it was supposed to do: max out the groove radar. A Geisha's Dream was supposed to be a regular chart: easy, hard, or anything in between. It was awful and there's no excuse for it.

Both awful, but AGD is that special kind of awful; the kind where it shouldn't be but somehow is. As Ryuzaki said, DEGRS filled the groove radar like its name implied.
