The latter's not bad, I just like Eternity's streams way better than stopping and stepping then waiting than stepping then waiting, etc. At a slower BPM, there's more waiting... I'm impatient. xP

Both songs are very respectably good to listen to, stepchart wise, i had to see patsenner's chart since it's been a long time playing anything below 5thMix and...just seems too slow for my taste. That and the steps seem to be a bit repetitive, but you can also say the same thing for Theory of Eternity, however IMO the steps flow much better in ToE than patsenner even for having repetitiveness in it.

This. Much as I absolutely LURVE patsenner, it would've benefitted by debuting in MAX or later--that is, having a more "new"-styled chart and, more importantly, freeze arrows.
