Other Music Games - Greenhorn vs HOT

S-: We talked about the freezes earlier. I'm warming up to them The beginning is pretty darn sexy, but it got very messy towards the end. Also, not an 8-footer. foot_rating++ plzkthx. Just to clarify after all that, I liked the chart and would consider playing it on pads for real.
S-: Feels a bit high for a 7', but it's not an 8 yet. Still very fun, and the step placement fits the music very well. Don't be afraid to use a couple jacks on the HOT overlays.

Other Music Games - Groundhog (Beat Juggle)
S-: More fun than Tesla Coil (yes I know different artist and all that jazz). And for me, that's saying a lot. Props for not overdoing the steps - I would have made absolute hash out of this song, and all the rhythms you used are well thought out.
S-: Not quite as fun, but still good. Could have used more stomping. The rhythm choice was very appropriate for the 7-footer.

Other Music Games - Moonlight
S-: YES. This is what I was hoping for when I saw Moonlight in the Other Music Games lineup I like the way you did the slowdown much better than PIU did it, and the crossovers are well placed. Good idea on the spins.
S-: Haha you pulled a Frozen Ray. And it worked. I'd say the chart overall feels more like a low 8' than any 7', given the speed at which you're doing the eighth-note bits, but it's still pretty fun. The rhythmic setup in the first "chorus" was another favorite part.

Other Music Games - Move It Groove It
I have the same beef with this song that I do with freshmagicgroove - ffs, I don't want to play a song about pretending I'm dancing with a video game and a funny-looking floor controller while I pretend I'm dancing with a video game and a funny-looking floor controller. That kind of irony is hardly hipster anymore.
S-: Feels very ITG-ish. Even if the song hadn't cited Kyle Ward...It's not a bad chart though. The L-D R-U 16ths pattern is annoying.
S-: I see the same streams from the 9-footer chart in here - they belong in the 9-footer. I prefer this chart as far as steps fitting to Sam-I-Am. It's OK.

Other Music Games - Mr. Firefighter
Excellent work with that cut. The more waltz the better
S-: Natural step placement (that's 90% of what I look for), good use of jumps for the drums, and I like the waltz part.
S-: It's really good, but I feel like a 6' player would be somehow overwhelmed. I still think it's a 6' chart, though. Again, good step placement, and I like the waltz part.
D-: It's very predicable, almost to the point of being Holic-ish, but it works. I'd have liked to see a little more music-based step pattern variety.
D-: Same things to say as Heavy. I'm not saying these aren't good doubles charts; I'm saying they feel a bit generic.

Other Music Games - Natural Flow
You know, this song goes on for like 15 seconds after the chart's well finished. Maybe you've got something hiding in a chart I didn't see?
S-: A solid 6-footer. Yes, you read that right. Well, OK, maybe the jumps knock it up a notch, but Every Day Every Night is this speed and complexity. Excellent patterns though.
S-: Needs less blue notes, I think. The spins were good, though, and the freeze action was worth it. I still don't feel very qualified to judge 5-footers
D-: Mmh, sometimes it was really good and sometimes it was really awkward. The song is really slow to do much on, though.

Other Music Games - Proposed, Flower, Wolf Part 2
Why oh why did you make the BPM go all the way to 320? It would be fine maxing out at 160 T_T
S-: It was OK. Some parts flowed really well, and some felt like the stream from Pandemonium (ITG). Following the violin works only a few times in the chart, when it guides the overall rhythm of the music itself. That fully-stepped piano part at the end made me want to cry.
S-: This chart makes up for all the bad stuff I said about S-...except with the piano part. Nobody can time that. If I sat down and tried to play the actual piece on piano, I couldn't time that. Otherwise, the chart was gorgeous.

Other Music Games - SON OF SUN (Chewphoria~)
S-: Haha, I would have guessed this is your chart even if I didn't know it was you. It's like an 8' with an attention deficit. If you can do 9's, you can handle a (limited) number of crossovers at 200 BPM (think about exotic ethnic, it was rolling along at 190 BPM). A little spice is OK Avoid doublesteps though.
S-: Better. Still needs something - maybe less LDLDL/RDRDR/etc. and more red-red-redbluered? Also a breather in the middle would be nice. The jumps are perfect for this song, though.
D-: D: FOURTEEN X SCALE and I think you forgot about the slowdown. Doublestep city.
D-: There's a lot of doublesteps. Like, a LOT of doublesteps. And it's more like an 8-footer in any case.

Other Music Games - Son of Sun (Kynayo)
S-: The good: excellent turning patterns, good use of rhythm, well-planned stops (not nearly as hard to deal with as you said they'd be ). The bad: Unreal-style jumps in a lot of places, and that super-annoying pattern right after the freeze-stop about 60% of the way through the song that I can never read.
S-: A draining 9-footer, yes, but a fun one, and I can see myself playing this on pads. Everything's up to snuff as far as I'm concerned.

Other Music Games - Squeeze
S-: Very nice. lol Eurobeat - it seems a little slow. The chart's a nice 8', but those spins are a bit complicated for...oh nvm. Good use of crossovers to go with the music.
S-: Like this one too. It gets repetitive (so much candling!), but I think that's appropriate for a 7-footer.

Other Music Games - Utopia
S-: Well, I like it better than the official chart. But I hated the official. The stream is very annoying and could honestly be done without - heck, you started it off with a doublestep. BAD. If you made a nice easy 2 you could bump everything else up and dump this chart, it's too much for the song. Yes I know it's from ITG, I don't care
S-: Copypasta down from S- with some steps removed, but except for the introduction of many doublesteps, this is actually quite good. The parts of the chart where you entirely replaced streams with crossovers, etc. were much more interesting. Watch your top-right facing bias.

Other Music Games - X-TREME
S-: I am very pleased. This is one of my favorite PIU songs, so I was ready to be all annoyed at you for messing it up, but...you didn't I even saw those stops coming. Watch how you use the 16ths in a couple cases, the music doesn't always use them.
S-: Also very good. Don't forget to alternate which way your patterns face - especially when you mirror sections of the chart, it reverses the up and down arrows too.
