The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

Went out and did a long set. It's been too long since I did nice long sets.

"air" Full Combo AAA (Double/Expert) - 62 Perfects, 4 Greats

"Doll" Full Combo AAA (Double/Expert) - 116 Perfects, 5 Greats

"Holic" Full Combo AAA (Double/Expert) - 78 Perfects, 3 Greats

"Kind Lady" Full Combo AAA (Double/Expert) - 45 Perfects, 4 Greats

My MA is all over the place, but I can see a definite decline in greats lately. I had a Perfect Combo going on "Doll" until about halfway through the song.

I also finally got a Full Combo AA on "Roppongi Evolved ver.B" on Double/Difficult, lordy that one took a while. I had actually gotten a Full Combo twice before but I only got As. Now, to me, it counts.

I also unlocked POSSESSION on Replicant D Action and reached 50,000 Marvelous Stars (Enjoy Level 48).

Maybe I forgot to post my old accomplishments yet.

Alright so here is a quick update from me.

Yesterday I went back to the bowling alley where my arcade machine is and played some EuroMix 2. Its was getting extremely old... so I knew I wanted to swap out the mixes... But I didn't get the one AAA I wanted to get yet... So commence whoring!!!

I played Aaron's Party at least 30 times... and no AAA still. I took some break and played other songs. I sometimes even took a trip to my DrumMania machine and played a few rounds to get away from the stupid song. In the meantime I did manage to get one AAA I couldn't get on any other mix...


So then my friend and one other player were telling me to switch the mix now because EuroMix 2 was horrible. I told them to let me play 3 more 4 song rounds to try and AAA Aaron's Party. On the 3rd Stage of the 2nd set I finally got it!


And now I am playing 4th Mix Plus and listening to Metalcore music to try to get my dick back. Thanks EuroMix 2.

You're even better/worst than me at whoring songs ahah. I would get mad if i play the same song 30 times in a day (max was 8 or 9 and 5-6 in a row). But sometimes... you doesn't have the choice. Congratz for this one.

Also congratz for all your new AAA, you're destroying the game :3 Some of your SN2 & EU2 PFC are pretty good (i mostly have none of them btw. No wait, i haven't any of them yet xD).

Btw i still have to play on a SN2 cab. And i want to play on it BADLY >.<

@SpirowQ : Your PFC's makes no sence, that's funny. I was the one & Let the beat him em with Orion (ameuro) & Fantasy (melissa or lockout ? Anyway i suck at both xD). GJ

OMFG YEEEEESSSSSSSSS !!! I Can't believe i finnaly got it. One of my main cursed songs. The first time i got a flag on this one, was more than 2 years ago.
It's funny because the first time i play DDRX i was thinking something like this "I must AAA this song on SN because when this cab will be gone, no chance to get it on X". But apparently, peoples and myself can deal with the lag (i still sucks but i can get pfc on easy songs it seems) so yes, i got it.

AAA#87 -Ghetto Blasta Deluxe- (expert) 36p

2nd try ever. First play was 4great and 2 mistakes on the 2 last jumps (wasn't focus hard enough). I played again immediatly and got it, pretty good surprise for me.

AAA#88 -Beautiful Inside (Cube Hard Mix)- (expert) 26p

The kind of chart/song that i don't like. Previous best was 2g, now i might never play it again as well (few exceptions can hapend).

AAA#89 -Boys (2008 X-edit)- (challenge) 26p

LOLOL i suck so much that it took me like 10 tries spread in 4 months or something. I almost PFC'd nobar (well it's only a 5' so... lol) but i got shocked. Or sometimes i ended with one great. My perfect count sucks but for this chart... i really don't care.
It's funny how lame i was on this one but i only took three tries on Mars Wars 3 or two on Ghetto Blasta Deluxe. It makes no sence xD

Also got 3 on Paranoia Evolution. Which is pretty good for me because it was my first song of the day and didn't picked this one. That's still 3 greats too much but better than my previous best (11 or something).


Little question for you guys : Do anyone remembers/knows how to get the Paranoia blabla X-Special in roulette ?
Do i have to AA my 2nd song on roulette and then i get it on the final stage ?

On my youtube channel (archmiel) I have some old videos from 2003 or so of me AAAing a few songs on Extreme (Fantasy (Max1), Speed Over Beethoven Double Heavy, Freckles Double Heavy). I think I also put up the 1g and 2g videos as well of things like R&P and V Oni (though I don't like them as much because I had AAAd those before, just not on video (only photo))

That's good for a relatively short time. Note that the "Enjoy Level" and "Marvellous Stars" are not directly related in any kind of ratio. It is possible to have a relatively low level with high # of stars and vice versa. I play only for PFC with very few options, so I am Level 246 or something with somewhere over 700,000 stars (closing in on 800,000?). Some players like AKK get the opposite situation because he always plays with a ton of mods, and has most of the game memorized so he plays on stealth mirror and faces the crowd. When I remember his last score, he was over level 200 and only had 200,000 stars.


Oh yeah, accomplishments...um, I'm about to head to work so I can't report anything now, but last time I played since doing Chaos Double I was down to 1g on iFuturelist Double Challenge (Chinese version), 2g on On the Break double, 4g on Daikenkai Challenge Double, 5g on Horatio Expert Double, 2 on Doll Expert Double (all in the ending; even after all these years I still only get that part by luck). Singles is a bit less interesting. 4 on Afronova X-Special. 1 on Second Heaven Challenge for the 4th time (argh!) Roppongi A and B are both near score AAAs but I don't play them so much. I did try Roppongi A on Difficult Double and got 1g on the first try (pic if anyone is interested, but it is just a 1g on standard double :/ ) but I have pretty long legs and I thought those long long reaches were quite fun as opposed to too far or anything. That's about it.

Hrm, (getting back to thread), I did finish off one chart though it does pale in comparison to getting Chaos recently. All the same I find it ridiculously hard to MA this one even though I would always have it down to a couple greats. Is there something odd with the syncing when the Chinese version is played on the Challenge chart? I don't have a problem MA-wise with the expert charts that use the original track.

Okay, I got the single challenge chart for iFuturelist (Chinese Version) too. My MA was *much* better when I just played by ear and only partially paid attention to the arrows at the bottom of the screen as they scrolled up.

I have cleared every song in DDR (PS3 version) on ,including all 3 versions of New York Evolved. I lack 2 songs from having them all beaten on , MAX 300 and New York Evolved. Also, I've PFC'd a few of the songs in it:

- Ahahaha, I did this on a SuperNOVA 2 machine. Totally unexpected, I just wanted to play an old favorite. My second AAA on a SuperNOVA 2 ever, first on Double.

My PA sucks on the new DDR machines compared to the older ones. This place has an old SuperNOVA 2 and two DDR X cabinets running X2. Three machines with terrible accuracy windows for one reason or another. I was able to tell which X cabinet was shipped with X2 and which one was upgraded too. One of them has very bendy arrows with terrible response and the other has very rigid ones that still had lag, but consistence so I could adjust. I played evenly on both machines and the rigid-paneled machine is where I got the last two AAAs. I was letting people behind me in line go ahead of me just so I could use that machine and not the other.

And boy does it seem like the first thing that breaks or goes bad on those cabinets is the LCD screen. I looked like someone poured water in the top of both of them and the bottommost parts have a yellow tint to them.

Also, a part of my shoe fell off while playing. It had a piece of metal attached to it, I think it was important.

So, I have been trying to port the LSP songs over to PS2.
Lesson 2D (Poseidon) - CCR'd my way to a B. Pretty sure I'd rip the pad if I tried it on foot. Why? 16TH STREAMS AT 300 BPM. Nothing more needs to be said.

Also CCR: AAA on Uranus . (2g, 1 miss) First CS AAA, but it doesn't count for me since it's, well, controller. Also, waaaaaaaaaaaay back when, I posted about an On The Bounce edit. It was a 13 and had a shitload of freezes. Yeah. AAA'd that too. 7g.
