In my opinion, the first one is really hard to read ^^;

I like the 2nd one a lot because it has Lapras :3 oh, and it's easy to read also.

Yeah, the first one (Dialga's Fight to the Finish! -remix-), I made the text too warped and too small to show Primal Dialga.
And the second one... just because no elaborate background

OMG! Looks almost exactly like the Album art from X2 :O awesome job ^^

This is really good! Very fresh look compared to most banners, yet there's nothing fancy about how it's formatted.

First, that's not an unlock for mania mix, that's a license for next mix.

Usually I just find images on google and tweak them to what I need.

Oh, then can you tell me what's the keyword? It's hard to come up with idea for each banner... especially if it's from scratch...

BTW, Chewi, I have an idea... if you already decided the license... why don't you make the banner but erase out parts of it, just like a puzzle? Just random asking actually, if you don't want, don't mind it.

You could try the in the groove approach and make the banner out of the background. Find a nice high res piece of art, put stylised text over it, then zero in on an element of the backgound for the banner and move the text layer to the appropriate spot.

I know some people think that's lazy, my thought is meh, it makes the artwork consistent.


Reminds me of CLUB VERSiON, good placement on the text.
