I was looking around on Xbox Live the other day, and noticed that they took off the DLC covers as DLC. I guess they were having a lot of problems with them. I doubt they'll ever put them back up. No big loss though.

So that means they got rid of which songs? All of them?

What, you dont think they will fix them and then put it back up?

I'm not really sure. It seems like it would almost be pointless to bring them back at this point. They might come back though. ShrapnelSound, they got rid of the following...
What Is Love
Glamorous
Celebration
Irreplaceable
I'm Coming Out

Argh, I wanted to get What Is Love - my best friend loves that song.
Thanks for the notice.

The OFFSET for the simfiles for this game are WTF. Some are off by an entire 3+ beats.

I am inclined to disagree, hellrazor. I have not yet experienced and syncing problems with any songs in this pack. Also, for future reference, unless you are more specific with your problems, it's unlikely that they're going to be able to be fixed.

I've had no problems either, before OR after the audio was updated. My only problem is with Doki Doki (Panik Mix), and it's volume dipping 30 seconds in, but I learned that's not Al's fault. I just obtained the game two weeks ago, and the same problem appears there, so it's Hudson Soft's fault.
BTW, I'm curious as to the DLC covers being removed from the Marketplace. Maybe it was a licensing issue.

I played almost all of the simfiles (except for some of the licenses that I didn't really like), and I found all of them to be pretty much perfect. Maybe it's just hellrazor's stepmania or something, or maybe it's all on beat, and he just thinks that it isn't.
hellrazor, maybe it'd be a good idea if you went and downloaded all of the simfiles again that you want to play and check again. If you still have a problem, try and re-sync it yourself.

I think that Akibariffic's steps start too early(at least on Oni, Single and Double), could someone confirm, I don't have the original game, but some parts feel odd especially in the end...

For those who are saying hellrazor is wrong, unless you have the game on the console yourself, you don't know that he's wrong. If the offset is off by exactly 3 beats, you can't tell unless you're familiar with exactly where the steps are on the game.

That doesn't even need stating. I'd prefer if someone told me what was wrong exactly and exactly how to fix. Not simply one sentence and expect me to check them all.

Oh, I must have done something bad then. All the files I have are way off-beat. I could give examples but I'm talking about ALL. For instance Less Than 3 was -0.030 and should have been -0.190.
I may have downloaded the simfiles and later updated the audio files without changing the .sm files (or vice versa). I've had the pack for quite some time and I'm finally adding it to my library.
In my ignorance I actually thought all the OFFSETS were just terrible, and no I don't just try to start arguments (heck some of them were 3+beats late for me THAT IS HUGE), nobody at all would have missed something like that. But based on the feedback I'm sure the error is all mine.
But since we're on topic of sync (I love sync), for UNV2 Rockit - Herbie Hancock has a constant BPM (well I ended up with one BPM change at the very end).
EDIT
Walk Like An Egyptian also has a constant BPM throughout (I'm almost done re-synching this pack). It sounds like it would have a random BPM and it took me forever to figure out it was a perfect BPM since I assumed random cuz that's what the file had originally, but eventually all the BPM changes approached 206.00 and after much tweaking I ended up with 206.04 although it may be closer to 206.037 (although I'm satisfied with 206.04 and my suggestion is to use this BPM).
#TITLE:Walk Like An Egyptian;
#ARTIST:The Bangles;
#BPMS:206.04;
EDIT 2
Canned Heat has a constant BPM, I knew this since the song was in Tournamix 4 or something so long ago.
#TITLE:Canned Heat;
#ARTIST:Jamiroquai;
BPMS:0=128.066;
EDIT 3 (last one cuz I'm now done), again a song with a constant BPM. Who synched these files, assuming the BPM is random because of the sound of the song and the fact it's not an integer BPM is a poor assumption, first assumption should always be constant BPM until it's impossible and there is no constant BPM that works. Although all the rest of the random BPM songs from UNIV 2 and 3 were indeed random however even then the BPMS used were rather loose IMO. The BPM changes in Concertino In Blue however were fairly accurate. Oh well please correct these files that incorrectly used random BPM changes.
