I was expecting a chart that goes to the song better and flows together as a whole. A lot of the rhythms used in the chart aren't clearly audible (if at all) in the song...

Append: I saw the Doubles chart and like that chart much better.

I'm telling you, even though it's just a "prologue song" for the event, In The Breeze needs Challenge charts that are at least 14's. Some parts in the Expert charts were understepped (but I guess that's just based on what I feel as I listen to this song over and over again) and I was a bit disappointed that they were an 11 in Singles and 12 in Doubles.

That chart is terrible... Either understepped or abusing same arrow taps. Such a disappointment.

I mean the arrow designs in the acrilycs, the white cabinet have new graphics as I've seen on some videos they aren't X series acrylics.

I haven't seen anything under a 14 get anything but "that chart sucks it should be harder" in a while now. Seriously, guys.

I wouldn't say it needs to be harder, but the rhythms just seem... off. For one, the steps in M3 (in the slower intro) are totally unnecessary. Then the next part has one 16th gallop that goes 16th-4th (yellow-red) but then a couple that are 4th-16th (red-yellow) when the rhythm of the song doesn't change to match. The first verse has borderline karaoke steps, which is something I wouldn't expect to see in an official chart. And I feel like the chorus even has some bad patterns that result in double-steps. Also, I see a lot of empty space, which isn't inherently bad but when the song's rhythms are still going strong when there's no steps, it just feels wrong. In my opinion, with a song with such strong off-beat rhythms like this, it's a crime to not capitalize on them. I'm not saying it needs a 15 or even a 14; I think a solid 13 could be made with this.

That's my two cents, anyway.

The chart is pretty awful, and not because it's easy. It doesn't seem to know what part of the song it wants to follow, the rhythm awkwardly stops and starts while trying to follow different parts.

Also when is Over the Period Expert going to become available? It feels like an eternity ago that the song was first revealed.

Speaking of that, has it now taken officially longer than Valkyrie Dimension to pass or is it still too early to call?

Completly agree. It has nothing to do with the song being easier than it should (even though there are spots when it could be harder), but rather than follows weird rhythms and the vocals very closely when it doesn't need to do it. At least its Double chart is less awkward.

edit: wow what the hell http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/ddr/ac/p/info/index.html#info41 I literally just visited the Manga Anime Game art exhibit and the day after I leave Japan, DDR 1st mix goes into that exhibition floor? (also of course lol missed the new bemani-wide event)

But those 4 songs never disappeared and have been there for years ... so I'm not sure what you mean by re-released.
