Anyone else unable to log into YouTube?

I can get into it just fine.

Speaking of YouTube, I'm finally going to post some more Soul Calibur IV character videos tonight (hopefully). I wonder if I should dig up that old-ass thread about edit characters...

omg, they're gonna screw you guys out of ANOTHER Xbox game... that really blows.

Yeah, you might end up having to send in another complaint letter to Konami.
They've been giving us the coldest shoulder since 2007. A complaint letter is going to do absolutely nothing.

The european version of DDR Universe was missing so much of what made it great in the first place, that I can't even fathom how the 3rd one would have turned out.

Ever try sending one with cash and an E-amuse card for hints?

I didn't have the faith to spend £50 again, although I'd gladly pay £100 for an american copy of Universe 1

When this all adds up you're effectively paying £100 for somewhere in the region of ten songs. Also on a semi-related note White Hot is no longer in the XBox Marketplace. RAGE.

I think it's much more than 10.. Plus online play (which technically didn't exist in the european version), plus avatars, and the warm fuzzy feeling you get inside, for knowing you've bought a game that really is a completely solid product.

The European version just seems to leave out the very specific songs that either defined the came, or gave it depth.

I was referencing that so they'd get the idea that Oni (and other people I guess) are avid players that bring in some of their revenue.
But I have yet to play on an E-Amuse enabled machine... OK... Maybe I'm just a wee bit jealous Annoyed

It's not my fault!!!

Konami are offering it, but nobody seems to be buying it :{

They must know that only avid DDR players will use the service, and probably assume that those players are unlikely to spend over £1000 a year between them, just because the machine has some new features.

Would you give your local arcade £50 upfront to install E-Amuse? Would 19 other people?

It's a good question.. I've probably put at least £100 into both Initial D and Wangan Midnight, and I don't think I'd have put anywhere near £50 into either of them, if they hadn't had the IC Card feature.

If i had the opportunity I sure would. Well it would be a bit expensive but I've wasted more money on concerts and this is something that would last a little longer than a concert. It would just be a matter of having other people pay which may not be as hard as it seems if it was a big enough arcade.

and I know it's not your fault I was just making a little joke Smile

Thing is that would arcades still subscribe to eamuse just to add a couple of features for ONE game?

Most (or even all) arcades have the machines simply to earn the odd pound from punters while waiting their turn at bowling or waiting in a cinema foyer.

My Post:
-Ever been at Wal-Mart around 2-3 AM where all the whack jobs are at?
It's some crazy shit...

-Now why would they spend money on a game that has people do something physically with their feet IN A DEPARTMENT STORE.
I would play, yes, but it isn't feasible.

-Wal-Mart sucks.

Most of us paid $300 for a game we only got this morning, so as in terms of paying money to support Bemani, and getting a really good game in return, I'd happily pay $100 for one of my favorite DDR games.

There's your problem; Konami of Europe doesn't want you to be happy in the first place.
