fujitake is not the best in japan. He's boss songs are not as good as compared with the high tier players. His non boss song are better than most people in both single and double play. Brosoni is one of the best few boss song player.

I always have this feeling that most japanese lacks stamina and thus their boss song aren't that good when compared to english country.

You are correct. Fuji Take's boss songs are not on rival with top teir players like Brosoni or Mack. However, I still consider him the best with everything else. Not to mention he is one of the best Double players asia. He can score the highest for songs 7-13 on single and double.

The reason I wont say Brosoni is the best player is the same reason you wont say Fujitake is. Brosoni is god when it comes to the hardest songs in DDR but he does lack on MA and scoring high in general when it comes to anything lower than 14.

Its really an opinion and it really depends on what we are talking about. For example, Kevbo is in my opinion one of the best ITG players. However, when it comes to passing things in ITG rated 15 and up he probably cant do it. On the other hand, there are players when can do them do to their stamina and quickness of step. So far any player I see that can pass the hardest charts dont come close to kevbo's scores on anything else.


tl;dr: It depends on what your talking about to deem one player the best.

I have this kind of conversation with the local players all the time. I personally won't PFC a handful of songs in my lifetime, but I can AA nearly every single Singles song below 10 feet, where as people who PFC Bloody Tears and Why Not have trouble FCing Luv To Me, Make a Differecnce, or L'Amoure et al Liberte. I'm also a decent doubles player, I can complete most Challenge courses and I can do spins/routines to a lot of songs. Because of this, some people would consider me a better player because I have decent skill in all aspects of DDR where as some people think they're better than me because they can pass and score well on all 10 footers, even though they can't play doubles, challenge courses or even AA most songs. Of course none of us in Knoxville can even stand next to you guys, but it goes to show that debates like this happen everywhere in all areas.

The only thing that it means, imo, is that during a match I will choose some hardly play obscured song that the other player probably hasn't even heard of so I can get a large lead to make a difference (lol) in what they will get when they choose Max 300 SMMM Challenge. Besides, it's all a video game. If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong, no matter what your score is.

Awesome vids, you guys have such high consistency. Having a girlfrn and serving the army sucks, I MISS DDR =(

In my part... I can FC most of the songs below 10 for pre-DDRX or below 15 for DDRX. but in 15 above, some songs have nearly FCed only if i can continue playing in that song... example, in MAX300 (sorry if this song is obsolete for u guys), i usually FCed until i reached more than 3/4 part of the song due to have difficulty holding my breath. same for other max series and paranoia 270 and psurvivor. i have also friend who has very good stamina but lack of step accuracy, he can finish more boss songs.

so i am more concentrating on playing DDR to enhance my stamina with regards to good accuracyI'm not always relying to use bar since our DDR machine has no bar. I also aim to finish and FCed boss songs without my sweats coming out until the end of the songs... heheheh... if these are possible... I have very good accuracy but lacking only to stamina...

I believe he means Paranoia Survivor (270 BPM) and Paranoia Survivor Max (290 BPM).

Lot's of people refer to them by the bpms used as artist names because it's big, and often set apart more than the subtitle is when you look at the banners. At least, I think that's why they refer to them that way.
