Hum, I wish they had fixed the Blue Arrow Syndrome at the end and used triplets on the SP chart like they rightfully did in the DP chart. Still fine though, not one of my most favourite charts ever but certainly not a bad one either and a great addition to X.

SUPER SAMURAI is a very impressive choice! There isn't much left to unlock now besides the last two Xmixes, on the bounce, and Trigger is there?
Music is always running in my mind... Everyday, songs old and new come to mind.
...
I wonder how a DJ Hero-esque mix of an AFRONOVA medley and Fascination MAXX would sound...

"rawr."
Well, I went to the Gameworks closest to my house for the first time in about 4 month because they only had SN1 and Extreme machines and they got boring fairly quickly after awhile but my friend wanted to hangout there tonight so we met there and low and behold they had a brand new DDR X arcade cabinet. And everyone has been completely right in what they've said about the pads, they are absolutely awful....I can almost full combo Max 300 on the SN1 machine (can't get the last few steps before the freeze) and yet I couldn't for the life of me get a single A on some not so hard songs (Saga, Captivate, Seduction Vocal Remix). Although I wasn't able to tell if there was any real lag in the machine because the pads were so bad that I was getting several great's and boo's anyways.

A few things I did notice:
-There was e-amuse built into the machine but it was set to Local Mode, I didn't get a picture of the model number but I'll try to make it back there next week to get pics.
-There was A LOT of pixelation with the background images, I noticed it a lot with the Paranoia ~Hades~ bg vid.
-It looked pretty sloppy all around because I also noticed that the red bars for the foot rating were not lined up with the yellow bars.
-I did see the Xmix-1 shows up on the 2nd round, and On The Break is the final stage.

All around, I was not very impressed with the machine....at all.

Sorry if a lot of this info is already known, I just thought I'd give my own personal review of the machine.

It's a new machine.. Same as here. But, in here, it's an upgraded DDR X from SN1 cabs.

May I ask when e-amuse unlocks arrive on connected machines?

And Super Samurai on DDR X, one of jun's songs that I like (simply because it doesn't sound like it's other sisters) and with fairly reasonable ratings. Although I love the way they touched-up the banner, to be honest I'm not really liking the original design of washed out purple with spots of yellow that spell out "Super Samurai" (tl, dr I hate the banner design, the generic one for simfiles was the ones I used until I lost them).

I would like Confession to be unlocked in the arcades before they completely focus on Wii Boss Songs.

Thank you so much, Lord Toon!

Just wanna ask,

Which USB Flash Disk brand that fully supported by DDR X Cab to play Edit Mode?

I used several USBs but the machine do not recognize them Sad

Maybe the minimum size to be recognized is 2Gb? Just like Maid Yuni's?

Normal USB of any size should work without problem , moreover if it have a brand

Make sure the following things are done :

1) Edit mode is set to ON in the operator menu

2) The Edit data file must be placed at a folder named DDR_EDIT
So the path of the file looks like \DDR_EDIT\DDR_EDIT_J.DAT

3) The filename of the Edit data need to match the region of the machine
At the title screen , you can note the version no. of the machine
e.g.
HDX:J:A:A:2009050700 <--- Japan region
HDX:A:A:A:2009050700 <--- Asia region
The letter after HDX is the region code ,
if it is J then the Edit data filename should be DDR_EDIT_J.DAT
if it is A then the Edit data filename should be DDR_EDIT_A.DAT

This all depends, Windows XP and Vista (and I mean the civilian versions) have detected my flash drives alright. Unless there is a difference in the amount of drivers included in a XP Embedded install, I don't see what issues we'd encounter unless the format were different.

The issue with ITG was that it ran on Linux, not Windows.

When the X-special condition is described as having been loosened, what does that mean? Just Extra Stage is enough?

Yup, means you no longer need to fulfil the extra requirements (play songs from a certain folder with certain mods, etc) in addition to just getting Extra Stage.
