The most that Spirit of Nightmare and black4ever can hope for is that Tikal's computer stops working for about a week.

Not exactly, even if he goes inactive, the auto-bomb if the randomiser selects a bomb will be covered by the Immunity, and he mathematically can only make one more go, even if something like Shuffle was selected.

The only way I think he can be knocked out is through a Blammo if it's there (which, like every other square, has a 1-in-98 chance of appearing, assuming that it hasn't appeared already and a bomb covered it*), and either he selects Eliminate You, or someone else selects Eliminate Opponent and selects his name from the 1-in-2 shot (assuming three people will still be left in, if only two are then it's instant bye-bye).

I can't be bothered to run through the maths, but Tikal's odds of survival are probably around 99.5%. Which probably won't be much cause of sleepless nights for the other two still in, unless Square 99 goes his way.

* I'm not confirming or denying that any of this is the case, this is just statistics and probability.

does no one else think immunity might as well be renamed "you win"? it seems a bit overpowered, even for a power-up.

There's another square in there in which you have to grant Immunity to another player, which I reckon serves well as its opposite. They're both a-bit-more-than-1% shots, so their appearance is special enough to not worry about their OPness too much. Besides, it only works for 1 round, and the Square 99 gambit means that it doesn't quite have the 'instant millions' power it once had.
