Wait, what? I remember there being 5 posts before this one. I know Jeff pulled a double ninja on me and Zukin, but there were posts after that.

The posts were about a joke that's been dragged out for too long. An admin probably thought the same and nixed the posts.

Good to know that banned members can't post anywhere or talk in the chat but Queen-Zukin pointed out that they're still able to upload things onto the site. With luckeyboysonic, it was understandable as e was uploading a picture of himself but this is just down-right retarded:

SN2 (the user) was the reason why alan made it that banned members can't comment on simfiles or pictures. It's only a matter of time before a banned member actaully uploads something offensive.

alan checks on this site at work, along with many others so having a NSFW picture uploaded to the site would cause problms because of the "last 5 pictures uploaded" feature on the home page


Edit: and I just noticed that hamsand uploaded a 0MB simfile:

Yeah, it's a couple of months since the last post, but this problem is getting out of hand for one user.

ddrplayer422, had two accounts banned as ddrfan and stepmaniafan (forgot the numbers) and created multiple accounts 6 months ago. Two accounts are banned, but ddrplayer isn't.

I also checked the userlist for stepmaniafan333. At this writing he is not banned, unlike the other two.

Personal Info fields all match up, so I'm gonna do my bit and -5 stepmaniafan333. SIR YES SIR!

edit- I recommend you guys do the same because ban evasion is NOT cool.

Agreed here. Al, perhaps a sticky about ban evading is against the rules and wouldn't be tolerated. Perhaps editing the multiple account warning sticky would be better, such as this below.


And possibly a ban log in the forums would work well too.

Considering it's not a major issue this site is having, I'll leave that as low priority.

Can an admin just nuke these accounts and post/s? It doesn't look like they are gonna post anymore (they might've been accounts used to just try and "attack" people) and have not been online in ages.

Repeatedly making accounts to evade a ban. The one I linked to was, AFAIK, his fourth.
