Well that only applies to the file for the week you're voting for. You didn't have a [Duet] file, so that doesn't really do you any harm. But if you had submitted something and it had gotten enough points to place, your [Duet] file would have been DQ'ed and the place would go to whoever had the next highest amount of points. So if your [Other Rhythm Games] votes are late again this week, then your file would be DQ'ed.

Alright, votes and brief reviews for all files! (SupremeX's file will come up in a moment, have to reload oITG songs which takes ages)
Votes:
1. U Got Me Rocking (brunobg24) (+5)
2. Poison (+4)
3. The Carnivorous Carnival (+3)
4. Samurai Blue (+2)
5. SLIT (+1)
Honorable mentions because there were quite a few decent files
Romantic Horse - Needs
Extravaganza - Can be great with some improvement
U Got Me Rocking (Pandemonium X)
Zauberkugel
If you want me to specify anything or want a more detailed review, just tell me <:
Built to Scale 2
Pretty good step placements. I just think the first part of the song is slightly tedious, following the melody somtimes might have helped. Still, it's mostly because of the song itself, and you made a great job with step placements overall. Not bad.
CYCLES
The spins fit the song alright and they weren't too bad. I felt that I cheated a whole lot of them though, since there was so many of them. Other than the spins, it was a bit mediocre, nothing bad standing out though.
Extravaganza
Overall, I found the patterns to be fun, especially the crossovers (the ending run in particular was sweet), although I wasn't a fan of some of them turning into turn jumps into jumps. I also think the arrows could have followed the music better in the first part of the song and from beat 209 to b241, the part immediately after flows a lot better. The music offset feels off, and looking at the waveform it should be closer to -0.050 instead of 0.000 (with a 0 global offset). with some polishing, this could be a really good file.
Also, it's definitely not a 9 <:
Glee Club
Okay, I have no idea why you decided to only follow the vocals, when there clearly were way more interesting rhythms in the song. Furthermore, some of it just goes LRL or UDU. Along with the 4 second silences between steps, it looks a lot like a beginnner chart if you count away the mines and the jumps at the end. In my opinion, starting the steps at b16 and following the music there would have made for a much, much more fun chart. It wouldn't even discard the vocal parts, they'd fit in nicely in between melodies. Not sure if the bpm is 124.02 either. There isn't much in the waveform to read, but it seems to be drifting slightly. I'd go with 124.000, though it really doesn't matter much.
Tbh, the song itself kind of makes it hard to step anything interesting, but a 90 second song with less than 40 steps just isn't fun unless you've just started playing the game d:
Heaven
Liked the overall rhythm of the chart, good flow. I do think you went overboard with all the spins (especially during the slowdown), but other than that (and some minor ambigous steps), it's pretty solid. Might want to set #DISPLAYBPM:75:150; though so that the speedup doesn't mess with your mod selection.
I Think I'm Paranoid
The music doesn't have too many interesting rhythms, but for what you had to work with, it's a good job. The arrows go alright with the music and the jumps are placed well.
Kita no Blue Birds
Pretty good, the song has fun rhythms and you've used them well for the most part. There were some spots where the steps wouldn't follow the music very well, but for the majority of the song, the patterning is solid.
Mechanical doll
Well stepped. Other than the hold+tap parts, the steps followed the music well and made for a varied chart.
Poison
Didn't like the song, but the chart was really fun. Nice skittles chart, don't know what else to say ;p
Romantic Horse
I'm currently super sad that there's no
that could have used a lot of steps that the Heavy chart skipped. The
wasn't bad by any means, and it fits its difficulty rating well, I just feel that there were a lot of rhythms and sounds that could have fit superbly into a 12-13
chart. Still, the
was good and follows the music well, was pretty fun to play.
Rooftop Run
Followed the rhythms well. The patterning made sense most of the time, though I felt that some jumps didn't accent anything (they flowed well though, so it's kinda fine) and some notes needed to be holds. There was a number of ambigous steps and some doublesteps though, some less annoying than others. I didn't like the use of spins, ended up doublestepping most of them.
Samurai Blue
I have to be honest, when I listened to the preview in the music wheel, I didn't expect much. However, you made one of the most fun 7s I've played (< 9 charts usually has boring rhythms) out of a pretty generic song. Jump placements were good and the crossovers helped with the duller parts of the music. Not the most interesting chart, but Very well made.
Summertime Sadness
Somewhat solid chart, though it felt to me like you jumped a lot between following the vocals and the percussion. Didn't matter a whole lot, since the patterning was consistent and straightforward, as well as the song not giving too many options. Saw some parts with missed 16ths that probably could have fit in a
chart. Overall, not a bad chart, but not very interesting either.
Offset also seemed slightly late, about 20 milliseconds or so.
SLIT
Needs a Challenge chart, but the Heavy is fun too. Liked the song and the patterns were fun, though they felt a 16th too late/early at times. Not a huge deal though, most of the time I really enjoyed the chart.
(Arrows felt slightly early though)
The Carnivorous Carnival
First, I played the
. Screw those bracket stomps. Seriously though, the sound they follow isn't at all strong enough to warrant a bracket stomp and it was pretty awkward. I also think you went slightly overboard with the footswitches, especially during the part where they first appear. I think continuing with streams would have fit the song better, as I couldn't make out what all the footswitches went to. Pretty much everything else was good, but the bracket stomps in particular just made it so frustrating to play.
Then I played the
, which was a pleasant surprise. While it lacked the streams I liked in
, you definitely made different patterns here (instead of just watering down the Challenge chart) which I really enjoyed. The patterns overall followed the music well and were varied and fun to play, although I still have some minor "complaints". During the beginning "jump-tap" part with holds on the jumps, the holds on only one of the jump arrows makes it so that some jumps become ambigous, leading to having to crossover the tap arrow after, if you hold the hold. Now, it really doesn't matter too much since the holds are short enough to just drop them immediately, but the patterns can still mess with ones brain when trying to read them. I'd recommend just removing the holds. Another thing I noticed was how many 8th jacks there were (between bursts, LDL LRU for instance, a few of them awkward due to the sheer amount.
Both of these are very minor issues though, and overall I had fun playing this chart (
), gj.
U Got Me Rocking (brunobg24)
This file is good. Now, I liked almost everything about this chart, only minor complaints. At b18.500, 26.500, 34.500 and 42.500, I think you should move the first two notes (the 8th and the 16th) a 16th later, so that the gallop begins with a 16th which follows the music better. Later in the song, at b146.500, 154.500, 162.500 and 170.500, suffers the same problem. Move the 8th note one 16th later and it'll be perfect. Beat 112 is a doublestep. The file was also (unfortunately) somewhat early, try starting the steps 30 ms later (-0.131).
Those are the minor complaints (sync issue is a bit iffy considering that people have different global offsets, but if you sync to the audio waveform to a 0 offset (or ~ -0.009 for an ITG2 cab), there shouldn't be any problems), and besides them, I loved this chart.
U Got Me Rocking (Pandemonium X)
It's kind of hard to judge this without comparing it to the other version, but this one is really good too. I didn't like the spins though, and during a lot of the song, the steps were unnecessarily simple for a
chart, missing out some of the fun rhythms. Apart from the spins, definitely a solid chart though, would have played this a lot had not the other version existed.
fun fact about U Got Me Rocking, I was planning to step it as well, when I realized that it was probably going to be a popular pick lol
Who Do You Think You Are
Steps followed the music well for the most part. Pretty good actually, but the chart was solid, the song was a bit repetitive and even though you tried to make it varied at the end, it still remains a bid dull. Arrows felt slightly late.
Zauberkugel
Nice song choice, full of interesting rhythms. Well stepped mostly, though some tap arrows after certain jumps make you face the wrong way (that, or you have some really awkward spins), making it hard to read correctly. I also think that you could have improved the chart by using some holds to accent long sounds at certain spots. Not a big deal, but would have been a nice touch. Had fun playing this file though.

Oh, and Loodee, when typing a ton of stuff, you may want to use the (code) and (/code) to reduce the amount of space your post takes up. Just use "[" and" ]" instead.
Example:
Use
"code"
within
brackets
[ ]
to
take

less

you
would
normally.
Very

Not trying to be obnoxious or anything, just trying to make it somewhat easier for other people
Sorry, but which difficulty are you referring to in this,

I alwas talk about the highest difficulty if not otherwise specified
So in this case, since

Note: I only played
.
+5 - Poison (Beat Juggle) [xRGTMx] - very well stepped, interesting song choice, and really good sync.
+4 - CYCLES [Densetsu.EXE] - very fun steps. loved the spins.
+3 - 北のブルーバーズ [ddrstepper] - hard but fun. interesting song choice as well.
+2 - U Got Me Rocking [Pandemonium X] - no wonder this song was stepped twice. it's good. the steps were really nice too.
+1 - ローリンガール [Gameoson] - love the song and your steps were fun.
HM - 낭만망아지 [Scarz] - didn't like the song but I liked your steps.
HM - Rooftop Run [vincentw] - pretty nice but too many jumps for my taste. i wonder if you used xRGTMx's crossover guide when making this chart. lol
HM - 機器娃娃 [xnintendox] - it wasn't boring, but nothing stood out to me. samplestart is a little weird.
HM - Glee Club [ohaiimian] - loved it. really cute.
Who Do You Think You Are [Astroman129] - would have liked it better if it was on sync.
U Got Me Rocking [brunobg24] - this was better than the other file, but unfortunately it was offsync.
K.O.A. -Alice in Wonderworld- [Loodee] - would have been better without most (if not all) the freeze arrows and stops.
Ø [Darkstorm091] - pretty cool song but some of the rhythms felt awkward.
Zauberkugel (Dreamland200) - nice song but the file felt a little awkward to play and a little offsync as well.
サムライブルー [Lisek] - boring song and boring steps though I didn't see anything wrong about the steps.
I Think I'm Paranoid [Vinylyarou] - enjoyable but be careful not to have awkward doublestepping.
Built to Scale 2 [mf32892] - was pretty awkward to play, not sure why. the rhythms of the song i guess.
Heaven [darkanine] - this was pretty basic. sometimes there was a little awkward turning. the 2nd slowdown felt too slow. felt more like an 8.
What Is Wrong With The World (Cross Edit) [SupremeX] - felt a little offsync. i didn't like the steps because they were too hard for my taste and had some awkward doublestepping.
The Canivorous Carnival [Spork!] - poor audio quality. too hard for my tastes. didn't like it.
Extravaganza [CLOUDIO] - really bad, lots of awkward double stepping and felt offsync.
Sync problems:
Extravaganza
U Got Me Rocking [brunobg24]
What Is Wrong With The World
Who Do You Think You Are
Zauberkugel
Issues with audio quality:
北のブルーバーズ
