EX score on by default would definitely be very confusing for new players. What evidence is there to suggest that?

Also, does Love is the Power -Re:born- still have its unique BG?

(And a bit off-topic but I didn't want to bump a month-old thread: Is it true that it is impossible to access EES on a fully unlocked DDR X3? If so, that would be both very disappointing and unusual - no other game has locked the ES system unless you count RDA from X2. On that subject, what is now the default highlighted/red song(s) for X3's ES?)

Perhaps EX score will become a more attractive option with Goods not breaking a combo, and might also add points to the normal score now too.

If THANK YOU FOR PLAYING from Empress still shows the Empress credit staff roll as its video, then there is no reason for Love is the Power to lose its X3 video.

EX score is more like one that used at KAC 2011-2012? I think it's great

So has Konami finally retained MAKE IT BETTER (So-REAL Mix) and Put Your Faith In Me (Jazzy Groove) on this game?

I'll find it quite silly if Konami removed them on this game. Since I really think these two songs should've been included/revived on an AC DDR since EXTREME.

Here are the official steps for nightbird lost wing (in Stepmania), our first taste of the stepcharts for the game. There's not much deviation from the stepcharts we've seen in X3, in terms of both style and difficulty. Pretty tough chart with sprinklings of tricky footwork.

And of course, the song itself is great. A worthy successor to far east nightbird.

This is great news. I really wanted Far East Nightbird in DDR for the longest time, but I'm glad we got a successor that's easier to chart.

Far East Nightbird's chart has stops, which the simfile currently doesn't have.
Also, they kept the X announcer (boo) and SN2 scoring, so EX scoring is not the only option in the game.

If you had read closely, you would have seen that Pie already mentioned not being able to get the stops.

At any rate, whoever wants to put in the stops is free to do so.
