He's asking about simfiles. Common sense would tell you to look somewhere in the Simfiles forum. If you're requesting a category, wouldn't a sensible answer be to go to the Simfile Requests board? Even if he tried looking in the Simfile Discussion board first, there's that wonderful little sticky telling you where to ask for your own category. Obviously he knows the word "request" so I don't understand how not being able to find the topic yourself would be an issue. All I'm seeing is "I'm too lazy to look myself for five minutes."


I'm sorry, but I'm just reading this as "Person A does something wrong, so it's perfectly acceptable for Person B to do it too" and I'm a little amazed that you're actually trying to use this as a defense.

Sorry, but I have something very detailed and useful to talk about. My points were decreased from 23.3 to 12.8 for some reason and I got docked down on my Raw Points. I have changed a lot so that I only post useful information to threads, structure them in an easy way for viewers, use correct spelling, quoting songs correctly, and not necro-bumping a lot of threads uselessly. Many times (even my past year), other users mis-rate me as a bad poster when I am supposed to be an accurate one. Can someone please help me and SOS?

I was thinking about editing my bad/useless posts and deleting/changing them into smart/good/useful ones; will doing this ever increase my user rating? I am just checking.

Bad idea. It really isn't going to change anything and falls under the "reviving old threads" category in some way. Besides who's going to check your old posts anyway?

As for your recent drop in ratings, you do realize that members who are inactive and have since been deleted from the site (or removed due to inactivity) change the way your ratings go? So if someone had you in a positive rating but they got removed from the site due to lack of inactivity, their ratings don't matter anymore.

Could be that, or some members here still don't like you. Happens.

Gabe, this is why you are getting your negative ratings. While the RATINGS DO NOT MATTER (quote from years and years of ZIv lore), you have to earn them, not "deserve" them. That's right, even if you blew a hole right into this site, you just can't come back here saying "Oh i've been on this site, i've learned my mistake, now give me your ratings plzkthxbai", it just doesn't work like that.
