Those of you who picked up the rather exciting DDR Universe 3 for the Xbox 360 may be very happy to find out that you have quite a bit of new songs to purchase today, should you want to.

Standard Bonus Songs (100MS Points each):

Also of note, two packs labeled, Universe 1 and Universe 2 Mega Pack. Each one is 600 MS Points and states that it's 40% off. Could very possibly be the 10 DLC songs that each of those games also received.

And then lastly we have a Voice Pack for 400MS Points that is listed as "Valencia's MC Voice (Japanese)."

Any clarification on whether the Premium Songs are covers or not, difficulties of any of the songs and what exactly the Mega Packs actually are should be mentioned in comments if you find out any information. The info will be added as we find out more.

Update: Apparently there was a bit of a mixup and what was listed as Premium Bonus Songs for Universe 3 are, in fact, for Karaoke Revolution. Sorry for the confusion.

Only vertical has an Oni chart so far. Any others, perhaps?

I believe the Premium songs are the 5 covers heard in the records screen. They are merely mislabeled. That is the impression I got from a GameFAQs post. He said he downloaded "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and got "What is Love?" As established, the song titles are meant for Karaoke Revolution.

After taking a while to examine the game I can confirm we will not see the following things :-

Songs removed:

allt - All The Small Things
dils - Dirty Little Secret
dyou - Don't You (Forget About Me)
ever - Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
twas - Twist & Shout
whit - White Hot

Download songs removed:

Did anyone mention the challenge for Kimochi in Quest Mode yet?

So who has downloaded the 2 new free downloads? Koibana and A Dream. A Dream has a very 9 expert chart and I have yet to play Koibana. I'm really hoping Konami gives us more of these Present Songs.

I think we'll only (potentially) be getting as many as shown on the preview list in the Records screen. Koibana and A Dream weren't in the song pack that was available for purchase, was it? In any case, I can't download them until I get back to the states. Luckily, that should only be a few weeks away.

And you guys have probably guessed already, but I've put that gameplay video on hold for a while. I wanted to include some online gameplay footage, but obviously, I can't get that until I get my online play back.

How long does it take for the game to release it's official OST?
Can't find any details about it on Google.

Yeah, I never understood why the Ultramix and UNIVERSE series never had OSTs.

Oh, that's what I was thinking of, aheh.

Grah.. Went to go turn on my 360 a couple weeks ago, accidentally kicked it over and fatally scratched my Universe 3 disc. I've been waiting for a while for the game-only to come out, but I haven't seen any store with it. Only the bundle. Does anybody know when it comes out? I seriously don't wanna pay $70 for a new one + ANOTHER dance pad.

The game-only package never comes out. It never did for the first two Universes. All you can do is wait until a used copy shows up on shelves and hope it's in somewhat decent condition.
