how the hell did they do that?

and they did a tournament on this piece of junk?

It appears to be the Betson cabinets with all four sensors per arrow in place and no HD lag. Could there be repair kits/software updates forthcoming for North America? They should at the very least save face.
It'll be the end of the world as we know it if Betson tries to save face...

I really wanna see the crappy nature of these machines...in person...

Betson really suck ASS!! I hope Konami can build better machines in North America, or otherwise we'll stick to Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME. I'll tell you why about DDR EXTREME, because it has removed songs such as Look to The Sky, etc.

I heard that the cabinet is a prototype beetween US and Europeen machine. That's kinda weird. The main problem (i didn't see that myself cause i wasn't here) was that players got a lots of greats :s

I hope this won't be the Europeen machine Sad
Or we can just back to SuperNOVA AGAIN >.<

WoW! I can't believe it! I have no actual proof of it, but a friend of mine just told me that there is a DDR X machine at my arcade and she reported no sign of screen lag, just that the pads were shitty! I know it might not be the best news since the word is spread that DDR X sucks, but I'm going from no machine to this! I can tell you more when I'll play this weekend, who knows, it might be the very first machine working actually well!

I don't want to hear. I want to see the thing for myself. Unfortunately, all of the machines unveiled so far are either in California or in the Midwest. FYI, I live in New York.

Speaking of SuperNOVA, did Betson also build the European machines?

The UK supplier for SuperNOVA was Premiere Machine Training Leeds (PMT Sales).

Betson don't have anything to do with any Japanese or European machines, past or present. They just distribute the game in North America.

That could mean that Betson is updating machines via an in-house e-Amuse connection before they ship them now. No HD lag... for all the good it does.

Though that cardboard mod might sort out the shite pads. Shame they could be arsed to do it BEFORE it came out, but there you go.

6+ hour drive to NH for a DDR X machine...no. If only 8 on the Break or any arcade near NYC would have a machine. It's hard enough to find a SuperNOVA 2 machine here to begin with.

Wow, I hope so.

I know Blue Rain is expected, but Super Samurai would be a really nice surprise!

Agreed. Honestly, I think HP1 had a better overall soundtrack than HP2. The boss songs by Jun for example. I really liked Super Samurai, but Silver Dream was just... another huge let-down. (i can say this cause it's bubblegum-happy hardcore once again Oops )

Does it drop any hints specifically mentioning SUPER SAMURAI? It seems that it could just as likely be SILVER DREAM, especially since that has known Double steps. I guess we'll find out tomorrow!

Silver Dream > Super Samurai
That's the only song that Jun has that isn't stupid. <_<

SS is my favorite 10 since Extreme. No gimmicks, no unreadable BPM change, no impossible spins, just nice, senbible, stamina-killing goodness Big Grin
