DDR X2 (AC) (International)

Still a little shocking at how much is actually locked with the soundtrack coming out in a mere three weeks.

As Eddie said, we seem to already know everything there is to know. The remaining unlocks will simply make all the tiered content available to every joe that walks up to the machine.

However... Isn't Reflec Beat getting songs ADDED to the machines via eAmuse? Could not the same kind of update be pushed to a DDR machine with a PC and a hard drive?

I look forward to trying out those Challenge charts... Does this unlock include the Chinese audio charts that unlock only with edits or do those still require edit data to get to?

For our sake, I hope not. It would cause a nightmare in America (and Europe). Whether or not a new DDR AC comes out this year or not, better save that content for the next game, because Konami sure used up a lot of crossover material for X2.

Well, Everyone outside of eAmuseland simply wouldn't get the update. Unless they did a hardware-based upgrade like the new discs for SuperNOVA, just swap out the harddrive for one with updated information.

But that wouldn't really be a bad thing, and I wouldn't be surprised if it came to that either. Because the songs would just show up as DDR S+ DLC a few months down the road. :3

If it's not Online Mode , even in Japan, we can't play unlocked songs until complete unlocking.

If we set the machines to Local Mode , it doesn't have GOLD RUSH,888,sakura storm,etc

If Enjoy level challenge charts've been unlocked, it probably wouldn't seem like anything's unlocked if you've already maxed out your Enjoy level.

Music list for the OST has been published. There is no nonstop megamix.

DISC 1: DanceDanceRevolution X2 and MUSIC FIT.
DISC 2: DDR UNIVERSE 3, DDR X CS and crossover songs.
DISC 3: 13 licenses and chinese versions.

It's worth noting there is only one version of GOLD RUSH and roppongi EVOLVED on the ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK and no system loops.

Yeah that was expected, they announced Pierce The Sky full version months ago.

I'm just hoping that the roppongi EVOLVED on the OST is roppongi EVOLVED ver. D

And as for IIB, it's just not a song I normally associate with DDR. It'd be like having the soundtrack to Hottest Party 3 come with NGGYU. People get the album and are jammin' out to DDR when... "aw, what the hell!" X)

Traditionally the licenses have been in-game versions. I'll be surprised if they use full versions.

The simfilers in here would rather they be the in-game cuts for... scientific purposes.

Derp. Just noticed the chinese version of iFUTURELIST is missing.

Augh, so close! Licenses, but no nonstop megamix, I never thought it would go that way. I'm happy to see licenses, but I always look forward to the nonstop megamix (even though this has recently lead to great disappointment ). Happy to see the Chinese versions on there, though too bad iFUTURELIST is missing.

I still say crossovers have no place in a DDR soundtrack. They historically have never been included (only 4thMIX and X&FFP did it), and now I'm going to have my 342345th copy of Dazzlin' Darlin. Also not sure why the X CS songs are included; they were already on the X&FFP OST. Oh well, still looking forward to the awesome X2 soundtrack!

The reason that there is no megamix is because they hired DJ HICO and she saw what al said about her so she refused.

@Arctic Wolves, correction, they only included the crossovers which were rearranged in DDR X on the soundtrack. Any others that were untouched were not included in the DDR X soundtrack.

In IIDX18 OST's case, you could argue that SABER WING and sakura storm has no place in that soundtrack either.

They included Ubertreffen and Chance and Dice, which weren't rearranged/cut. Weren't there only 5 crossovers on X, and all 5 are on the OST? Am I forgetting any?

IIDX always has crossovers on the OSTs, so I forgive them that, even though yes, I would prefer they didn't.

The HOUSE NATION licenses in beatmania IIDX EMPRESS OST are extended versions. but who knows?

Were Roppongi Evolved A to C included in the last soundtrack? If so, I suppose Version D will be the one on this soundtrack.

If not, I'm calling a master track containing A,B,C and D right this moment.
