As long as night is being referring to as a period of time you're fine.
For example something like "This Night" would be allowed but "Night Sky" wouldn't.
Same thing applies to day.

I have to inform that I can't participate this week since I'll be gone at a convention on Thursday to Sunday. I'll try to make sure I have time to vote before I depart.

It's now been 3 years since I've won a week in Summer Contest. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong and to be honest, it really makes it hard to keep competing. Dropping from it has crossed my mind more than a few times.

I wanted to drop after first week (just one point)... even skipped 2nd week. Won third one. Just don't give up. Positive thinking is the way to go.

I'm from Poland and Spirit is from Sweden. I doubt that any of us will go to US convention

Oh... I should pay more attention to where people are. A lot of conventions this weekend then lol.

I wouldn't feel discouraged. Just make the files you want to make. For me, the fun isn't in winning so much as it's just in creating, and contributing. It's a competition, yes. If they like it, great. If not, oh well. I have fun making files regardless. I've found that by focusing my energy on just having fun in making simfiles, the contest has been more enjoyable. Coming from someone who was once hella concerned about winning. I hope you can relate and maybe that'll help make it more enjoyable.

That. And for me, just getting points is enough for me to feel proud of what I've made, especially with my last two entries (Pursuit and Deflowering...) I mean, the first attempts I made ended with the shame of not scoring at all.

This week's a tough one for me; there aren't a lot of songs that fit the theme that I really want to step, but I think I finally found two songs.
The one I'm working on now is really, uh... interesting.
