Shine sounds really great. Tomosuke never dissappoints btw the spins with 1/16th arrows... it's a litlle bit annoying (because of the song sounds calm) but at a nice chart at the same time. =D

A brighter day's challenge chart looks like shit

Wow, KONAMI has overcome their aversion to 16ths. These charts look really promising, they're really trying. Even Taking It To The Sky, as an 8, looks fun for its level. Some very well executed charts all around, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the content now. Great job on the charts KONAMI, I really want to play them now to really test how they are, but at a glance, they look awesome!

Everyong on this site is generally very fair when it comes to ratings ( they won't rate you down just for one little thing)


Anyways back on topic, this realease has been one of the most up and down rollercoaster ddr games i've ever experienced...I remeber last night thinking of how much of a dissapointment this game was gonna be, now that i saw three videos of the new ko's im Excited.

Thanks so much Atlas for uploading all these videos for us.

step wise, this is some awesome stuff. good to see lots of challenge charts
song wise, it's pretty forgettable. moreso than X at least.
Shine and What Will Come of Me are good though. La Libertad sounds like it could be really nice, but I guess i need to wait for a clearer sounding video.

Impressions:

I didn't like Crazy Control very much (How did D-Crew go from Be Lovin to this?) but the steps are good. They remind me of Radical Faith.

A Brighter Day has grew on me and now I actually like it . At first I thought the singer sounded like Kermit The Frog but now, it's a good song.

The singer from La Libertad sounds like the singer from Murmur Twins >_>

And the new Dynamite Rave isn't SO bad. *shrugs*

Watch the challenge chart for Shine and tell me that wasn't made by someone on the HP2 team. The 16th freezes give it all away.

Crazy Control's chart looks fun.

I doubt the HP step writers had anything to do with these charts considering that MOST, if not ALL of these charts I've seen so far would fail if hands were added anywhere in them. Granted most of these were challenge charts that wouldn't be in HP3 anyway, but even a lot of the Expert charts look TOO foot only. I'm putting money on HP3 getting a COMPLETELY different set of charts.

Some of those charts look fine but I'll just wait for the JP version which is bound to be MUCH better than this.

Wish those videos were a bit louder =/. It's hard to appreciate the music.
