chart is already pretty solid, so I don't know what more there is to add to it. It would probably end up like Shiny World's chart.

Pretty much like all the new charts. Glad they're updating old songs with more modern charts, there's a lot of missed potential (musically) imo. My favorite is probably ORION.78 (AMeuro-MIX) [single]. I'm glad they left TRUE LOVE alone with just a 15, but wish they would fix that awkward stop.

M-Mods and the jubeat graph (also the "start here!" arrows at the beginning of a song) are very good QOL updates, but the Platinum Pass thing suuuuuucks. Why make people pay for something that's not part of eAmuse? I guess it's like the VIP pass that IIDX has, but I'm not really a fan of that either.
Also they got the original 唱 for IIDX but not DDR...?

For those who want to know more about the Platinum Pass:
- It is separate from the e-amusement Basic/Premium Courses, so if you either have those or the Platinum Pass, you don't get the features of the other.
- The Platinum Pass has the option to skip stages, or as they call it, Stage Jump, and you gain the time that you would have if you had played those stages for when you choose the next song. For example: If you skip from the First Stage to Extra Stage, you gain the time from the three stages you skipped (instead of 60 seconds in the song select screen, you get 240 seconds).
- Extra Stage is guaranteed for Premium Play.
- Floating Flare is accessible in Premium Play.
- The jubeat-styled graph for how you did accuracy-wise is sounding to be exclusive to the Platinum Pass.
- As stated above, the Pass gains access to exclusive songs. No word if they're accessible in DDR Grand Prix, if you have the Pass, or are World exclusive.
No pricing yet, but they launch on the 12th, so will find out soon.

The locking of M-Mods and exclusive songs behind the Pass, that you apparently can't double up on with Premium, is heartbreaking. All for a Stage Jump mechanic I personally don't understand the point of (I'm sure it makes sense to those who actually have access to a cab). At the very least, I'm thrilled about Stand Alone Beat Masta making it into DDR. Been a song I've been wanting transplanted since it came out.

Pricing for the Platinum Pass is 990 yen a month, so about $7 a month for us yankees.

IIDX does the same with their licensed covers, so I guess they're doing it for consistency's sake.I'll take it over the cover artists not being credited at all, which happens quite frequently in DDR!!
