I bet they say there going to put over 70 awesome songs on there, but I just might have a feeling that the song list isn't going to be that big, or anything. Hey guys does anyone know when Konami starts at E3? or no.

I found out it's on Spike(TV Channel 16 on Shaw)! I'll be watching the whole damn thing baby!

It'll probably be at least 70 songs, like it has been since EXTREME USA. As for Konami at E3, I don't think anyone here knows who'll appear when. I'll just probably catch up to the coverage through IGN or GameSpot, or watch it on G4.

So far the official word is "at least" 70 songs total, "at least" 60 of them brand new to the series (!). I'm thinking that including unlocks and KOs this one might be heftier than most mixes. I predict at least 80 tracks total.

Er, are you sure you're thinking of the US CS game? That 60+ new songs is for the AC version, I would die if the US CS had 60 new-to-DDR songs .

Yes. If USB edits are going to be supported it would be stupid to not have the soundtrack of the home version mirror that of the arcade, at least to a point.

Official word is also that this will be a "truly global version", I guess we'll find out soon enough won't we?

We have new songs on the AC game, but also Blind Justice and Poseidon, right? ;)

How do you know those songs won't be involved in the USB compatibility?

okay well lets assume they only give us the usual 70 songs...
the songs that have been confirmed thus far are:

Til The Lonely's Gone
30 Lives
Time Hollow
Taj He Splits
Poseidon

thats 5 songs, so we're left with 65

Then lets assume they give us all the planet songs to go with Poseidon

Jupiter (The Bringer of Jollity)
Pluto
Pluto Relinquish
Saturn
Venus
Uranus

Thats another 6 so now we're at 59 songs

and I'd be hoping that konami decides to knock the license count back down to twenty (ish).

when you take the songs I mentioned above and add those to about 20 licenses, we're only left with 39 available spots for KO's, 34 if Konami gives us 25 licenses like they did last year.


I'm really hoping AeronPrometheus is right in his educated guess about the 60 new songs in total for the CS version!!!


oh and for speculation purposes, when you take out the planet songs, the only KO's we're missing from SN2 are:

We're still missing several JP CS songs, such as Moonster, I Need You (True Platinum Mix), and PARANOiA ~Respect~ (I wouldn't be surprised if the other STARS remix is the Earth song). There's also the possibility of Ultramix crossovers.

Who knows, we might not see all of the SN2 songs (but please include Blind Justice on this game ).

They should include Brilliant RED, SOUL CRASH, Dance Dance Revolution, Himawari, CHIKARA, and the aforementioned STARS*** (2nd NAOKI's style). I've been dying to try SOUL CRASH since the first time I heard the song, but I don't wanna go to the arcade just to play that song.
