DDR X2 (AC) (International)

Hell, I had the same problem with Hero when I tried it last week. I AAed Pluto Challenge on the same credit, but when I played Hero I missed about 9 of the gallops and got a B for it. Very perplexing, why that song alone would give me such a low score.

Maybe it's something to do with new songs?

Went back to Round1 for a bit today. AAA'd roppongi EVOLVED ver.D .
Immediately after that, PAD PROBLEMS. A LOT OF PAD PROBLEMS.
P1 left triggers when you hit any arrows even remotely hard, and P2 is reallllly bad. P2 up is very unresponsive, and down is too sensitive. So basically if you want to play on the P2 pad, you have to hit the up arrow really hard, which then triggers the down arrow . Hopefully the pads are fixed soon, or its pretty much impossible to FC anything on that machine.

That's terrible. Before I left yesterday, I told Mike that the pads should be checked out with a fine tooth comb before we have any more tournaments there. He seemed to be in agreement, so let's see if any work gets done in the coming weeks.

Thanks for letting someone know. I really dont know any of the people that work there, so i didnt know who to tell, or of they have been told already. I mean, those are some pretty obvious problems. I must not have been the only person to notice today.

Sucks to hear about the pads. Hopefully they fix them up before this weekend. I have a lazy roommate I've been trying to drag out to X2 for a while but things haven't worked out yet.

Been a long time since we've had any unlock news, but IR3 ends on Wednesday so expect another round of unlocks. May just be the Replicant D-action songs though.

Yep... after IR3 ends, maybe e-amuse connected machines will be unlocked ala MAX CODE
Consider that the DDR X2 OST will be released next month.
I just hope they can pull off a few surprises like how MAX LOVE, and BALLAD THE FEATHERS appeared out of nowhere.

Then after a month or so, UNLOCK CODE 1 might be on it's way. I hope unlock code 1 will unlock at least 3 or more songs though.

@King of Light: is the results screen of the US Version of DDR X2 set to 10 secs or 15 secs?

You know in all honesty I really hope that the sales of X2 are doing absolutely terrible. Think about it for a sec... If sales aren't going as planned Betson is going to possibly have to settle for another option, and hopefully that option is just Upgrade kits for older machines. As far as I can tell sales are doing pretty bad right out the gate and places are skeptical to even consider buying another mix because of the terrible build quality of the X machines. After talking to Gameworks I was told they would only settle throwing out another DDR machine they have and replace it if they could only buy a new machine which apparently is the only thing Beston is offering at the moment.

Or they could just throw in the towel and end arcade DDR in North America.
Success is the best option for everyone. If it's a huge success, arcade operators will still be more inclined to get the latest version.

X2 better get some damn sales. Hell, I haven't had this much hype for an AC in a while, which I spent $25 on it in 2 weeks. I usually go to the arcade once a month to barely spend $7. They got over 3 times as much from me with this new release in half the time.

Also, has anyone noticed that the menu timer is a lot shorter now? (I'm probably late on this, too) Results screen went from 15 to 10 seconds and selection screen went from 80 to 60 seconds. (At least from SN2's)
