Sorry for asking this question. I do not know if the answer to this question also applies to arcade machines of editions of DDR prior to X 2.

What is the maximum quantity of credits of DDR X 2 {Japan, arcade cabinet}
I only had the answer for SN2 AC.
999 max.

Anyway, a buddy of mine facebooked that he was playing X2 so I'm asking him where it is, it appears AZ has one somewhere.
I've got a Facebook friend in AZ, so definitely interested in this so I can tell him.

Ah yindesu, I was gonna ask you to mention that on AIJ but I see you already did.

Well I heard back and it turns out he went to cali for the 3 day weekend and played it there. Bummer too, I was gonna go play today.

Hey everyone! First time posting here.

Tonight was awesome at Round1, pretty much a gathering of all the "regular" "good" players, minus JJK (maybe he showed up after 11pm, iunno - had to leave). We finally added a score to roppongi EVOLVED ver. B (thanks PHN!X), so now only ver. C and D remain unpassed...
Yeah JJK showed up at around 10:30 or 10:45. I actually got a second try at roppongi EVOLVED ver.B and raised it a bit. I've been practicing on ver.C so I want to try to pass it the next time I go to Round1.

That reported sticky P1 left arrow was apparently taken care of quite well by the techs. I feel like P1's side is much better than P2's side now. (I feel like P2's right arrow may be oversensitive)
I am not sure if it was just me, but during the last set that I played last night, the up arrow on the P1 side was giving me crap. I actually switched to the 2P side when i played ver.B again cuz the other guy didn't want to try it.

So from now on, every time I get to put my name in for a high score on SN or SN2 around my local area locations, it will read "GET X2!!"

Maybe, just maybe it will influence them Tongue

As far as Round1's pads go, the P1 side is getting worse, I didn't notice any heavy sticking, but the right arrow wasn't holding my freezes as well as I liked, P2 worked alright.

When did you play? Earlier Saturday, I thought P1 was flawless*. (I asked a tech to service the P1 left arrow Friday afternoon.)

*it may have deteriorated by the time round1 closed at 2am, but i did get a couple PFC's saturday, before the blisters on my feet became more painful >_>

I played this afternoon. Pad wasn't terrible, it was usable, just had the right drop more freezes than any other arrow.

Speaking of which, the freeze arrows at Jax's DDRX2 were fine, but I recall getting angry because it dropped me once on the 2P side on a song.... >_<

BTW n00b, my friend says he's pretty sure there's an X2 in Tempe's Gameworks... "pretty sure" because he avoids the DDR games there except SN2 due to bad pads.

I am at R1 right now and I can confirm the issue with the 1P up panel. The sensor somehow gets stuck on multiple occasions.

The updated stage allows for individual arrows to be removed... has anyone tried to find out why that one arrow is malfunctioning? Hopefully it's just a defective sensor and not another stage design flaw.

Same thing happened with SN2, I'm not too surprised...
Ours was awesome for about a week, then it contracted Betsonitis. I really hope this is just a coincidence though, since the US really doesn't need another crapocab revision. =/

I believe I was briefed that the new panels also use new sensors as well. I dont know if it made it into the final build but its setup the same way as a normal cab without the metal brackets on the inside. Hopefully it does not mean the new sensors are crap!

Betsonitis.
HAHAHAH That term needs to be used more. Laughing Out Loud

Anyway I was worried about this. How the pads held out long term was the true test of this machine and seeing how it's not looking good...Annoyed
