Yeah, pretty much every week they have a top 10 for players who got the most marv stars thats week. I know I had over 100k for sure. Thats why I'm calling BS.

That is clearly true. In that case, is it just harder to place due to a large number of good players scoring really high, or is it because of some other factor that has yet to be understood about the MARVELOUSTAR?

I actually am starting to believe that this was done by individual players with that intended goal. I think each one created a new card and reported to eachother how many stars they had and they made sure to order them correctly.
not really any news. Its summer break and I'm trying to play more now cause my friend from the UK is visiting taiwan and really enjoys playing X with me. He is also motivating me to player better these weeks.
Besides that I'm still ranked #1 for IR 5

so how do i change my residency of Japan to represent USA on my Konami card? is it too late once you input your settings or do you have to buy a new card? also one of my friends who goes by the name of Friagune changes his name frequently and I'm curious on how to do that. i would ask him but i don't know japanese too well.
also can someone some tell me what is the best way to acquire total dance points? do i have to play every single song on every difficulty or can i just play experts? another question i had is why is it that when i play a set of songs i've completed in the past and only get a few hundred points and a few percentages on my level and at other times get quite a few hundred points and my level bar just jumps up? i've played ddr and understand the point of it but this konami card has it's quirks if you don't know how to read kanji.

Most of them using the mobile site (for Japan only) to rename their game ID

The only way that would be possible w/o e-amuse would be through update discs or files sent from Konami.
And given that you have the Japanese version and not the ASIAN version like you should, I think you may be out of luck.
Hopefully with the US release manual unlock codes will start showing up soon (but oh they probably won't work on US machines with those shitty ass pads...)
