Found this video of someone actually putting in a USB drive onto the DDR X US AC:

Apparently, it doesn't seem to work...but it could just be that we have to wait for that program to come by OR it just won't allow it, idk.

Does anyone have that link where it showed the kinds of USB drives it accepts? Because i know the machine can only accept a few good number of USB drives and stuff...

In fact nearly every USB drive can do.

Even a SD card reader (USB type) can do , so we can change from one SD card to another SD card , and play different sets of edit data every time

I guess they may not have their edit data placed correctly or haven't rename the file from DDR_EDIT_J.DAT to DDR_EDIT_U.DAT

Either that, or the operator didn't turn the EDIT MODE on.

if this is not turned on , then the machine won't ask for your USB drive

Does anybody have a video of the default song wheel on a up-to-date unlocked DDR X arcade?

As of the source by al2k4 :
>BemaniWIKI<

this list is like what we see at arcade for "Butterfly (2008 X-edit)" to "Waiting 4 u"

the songs follow (in order at arcade) :
dazzle
Malacca
puzzle
S・A・G・A
The flower in your smile
TimeHollow
Chance and Dice
零-ZERO-
凛として咲く花の如く
Übertreffen
will
Beautiful Inside(Cube::Hard Mix)
INTO YOUR HEART(Ruffage remix)
LOVING YOU(Epidemik remix)
(Xmixs here at the stage before Final stage)
On The Break
SABER WING
SABER WING(AKIRA ISHIHARA Headshot mix)

The edit charts are auto-rated right? Has anyone done BemaniRuler's edit of A to see what the rating is (Dr.D would have fun with that one) and the Ecstasy challenge chart?

I think you specify the ratings.

Yeah, you've been able to decide on your own ratings since the beginning, haven't you? Tongue

"OMG KON!"
According to June.H our Gameworks machine's pads just went back to hell again. I knew Betson could not do anything right. I wont be in to the arcade for a while since I am moving this week, so I dont know what they are planning to do about the pads.

If I go to either of my local (read: 20 minutes away) arcades and find a DDR X, they will have lost a frequent customer. Also, one of those arcades happens to be the famous (at least at Rhythmatic) 8 On The Break.

I actually wouldn't mind if 8 On the Break got DDR X, of course if it was working the way it needed to. Plus, it would be nice to have a more recent version rather than 5thMIX. Not that there's anything wrong with 5thMIX, but I just don't understand why they downgraded EXTREME to that.

What were they hoping to accomplish? I don't feel any sarcasm in that video...

"and I should be on the rankings coz' I played a s***load of DDR yesterday...!"

MARVELOUSTAR is basically a ranking of how many MARVELOUSes players have in total.

So the only way to get ranked, is to play a "s***load". Probably what was meant in the video.

A lot of people think DDR was already bad when Extreme came out, and 5th mix was really the last good version. Therefore, it would attract more old school fans.

Well I guess that makes sense. I just figured that since they have rather recent BEMANI games like pop'n music 14 FEVER and beatmaniaIIDX13 DistorteD (which I also would love for it to get upgraded), I would think they would upgrade DDR a bit, but that's just me. 5thMIX has always been dear to my heart, though, so I don't hate them for putting it in there.

If 8 on the Break gets DDR X, it'll give me an (better) excuse to go to NJ besides family.

For the record, 5thMIX has a special place in my heart. It was the mix that got me started with DDR. Dam Dariram (KCP MIX) was my first song.

All the Bemani fans were avoiding it because it's OLD. 5thMix brought some variety and uniqueness to The Break.

Too bad Pop'n is so goddamn quiet or I'd drive up one day and go all out haha.

True, and it doesn't help that it's right next to In The Groove 2. It would be nice if the volume could be increased somehow.

Now that I think of it, they wouldn't have to put DDR X in there since all of the songs are already on the In The Groove 2 machine.
