Considering that WinX Club charts were made insultingly simple for the little kiddlewinks, I think we all had gathered that already.
Also great work on them simplifying the accordion bit of Chocolate Philosophy. That was basically the worst bit of the chart in the original and considering it's half-speed now I don't think cramming it full of 16ths that don't really go to anything would have been that smart.

So, if Winx Club charts were made for the kids, then why does Konami add so many anime (or songs with anime jackets) songs? There are good anime songs (take Riyu Kosaka's Baby's Tears from SN2, and Cirno's Perfect Math Class EDM mix for examples), but I'm noticing that there's an excess of anime songs considering the audience that they have.
Are they trying to target Japan as an audience?

In Winx Club? It's a game based off of an animated series oriented towards young girls. Of course they're going to put cutesy animated things in there.
I don't know what you're asking here. Winx Club is a Europe-only thing I think, so they'd have no reason to attract Japan, and if they wanted to do it, they wouldn't use a cheap-ass DDR to do it.

Very interesting; is this the first time DDR has ever indicated time signatures other than 4/4? (The only reference point I have is the super-old DDR Hottest Party 2, where osaka Evolved in Training Mode with guidelines on still displays 4/4, even though parts of the song are in 3/4.)
Also this has got to be the first time I've ever seen a 5/8 time signature.

It's the first time for a 5/8 signature and multiple time signatures, but CUTIE CHASER (and the morning mix) were in 3/4 time. They're even displayed in Training and Edit Modes in the games they were featured in.

At least a part of Holic is in 7/8, I believe. And then it becomes 7/4?

Pretty sure Holic was always set as 4/4 time in measure counters despite usage of multiple time signatures. Like, there are plenty of songs in DDR with odd time signatures, but only very few were actually set like that in the counters.

I'm also not entirely sure what time signatures PARANOIA ETERNAL and The Least 100sec follow. I know a part of the latter is in 3/4, but what about the rest?

PARANOiA Eternal has bits in 7/4 but because there's also 4/4 in there it defaults to that.
Chronos is mostly 5/4 and has basically everything else in it too.
How does it mark Saber Wing? That's all in 3/4 with a bit of 5/4 for taste.

Isn't Chronos mostly in 6/8, not 5/4?
Yeah! Yeah! is a bit of a strange one, too. It's a mixture of 7/4 and 2/4, marked as 4/4.

晴天Bon Voyage is also in 5/4 (one of my favorites from DDR 2013).

I wonder how much fun Konami would have trying to match time signature measures to the Dance of Eternity.

Chocolate Philosophy feels really poorly synced, what a fucking surprise. High School Love is aight though, just really easy for a 13

Still isn't the same as the Ultramix 4 chart... but has a little feel to it...
APPEND: This chart is a plus!
Yeah, I would have liked the "16th run" in the original to bump

What does changing the time signature do exactly? Just change the length of the measures?

As far as I know, yes. The difference should only be visible if Guidelines are on.

We've had the KAC7 rules debacle and people STILL need to be told Japan is Konami's real market
