I was really overconfident from joining the War Games, and because of that, I did a half-assed job stepping a dubstep song with an extremely unusual rhythm. II'm not doing that ever again. Annoyed

So, I will attempt to redeem myself with a song that has a nice rhythm to make steps to. Guess what? It's an old internet meme.

I thought the BPM gimmicks fit the song. It's probably because I'm a sucker for gimmicks, but IMO, they were done well. Actually, the choice in music turns me off from playing it more.

Bits & Bytes and Swagga maybe both be classified as dubstep, but they are so different. Instead of Rameses B dubstep (Alias, B&B) with synths, pads, and the wubwubwubwubs being easier on the ears, Swagga is just purely harsh, scratchy, unfiltered, no-holding-back dubstep. And the only thing that distincts it from any other boring repetive dubstep is some weird gangsta rapping about his swagga.

Carmelldansen is an example of a good choice, if not overstepped due to it being a dance music meme. :V

But yeah, that's kinda true. I prefer not to have my dubstep be all WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB, which is probably what turned me off from SWAGGA in the first place (but oh god where to start), but if handled well even WUB WUBBY dubstep can be a blast to play. Even I still enjoy playing certain dubstep charts from time to time.

Aegis got it. In another forum I frequent, the norm for contests is (was) to keep a "secret tally" so that people wouldn't be inclined to look for the current leader or whatever incite favoritism when they vote. Of course, if they really wanted to, they could do all the work of tallying the votes themselves but not put it up for all to see. So in keeping with this fine tradition, I hide the tally in spoilers to respect those who want to keep the "secret tally".
