Paula Terry's voice is what made so many of the pre-X NAOKI songs so awesome. Broken My Heart, Passion of Love, and Drivin' are among my favorite DDR songs.

Naoki's collaborations with Paula Terry were his best collaborations. Maybe she wrote the lyrics for the songs? I don't know. But his collaborations haven't been as good since. And everyone can complain that she wasn't a great singer, but she's a hell of a lot better than some of the garbage used now. Some of the only ones I like that are used now are Brenda Vaughn (who's been around for like forever), Brenda Burch, and MAYBE Angie Lee sometimes. DDR was better when it had Robbie Danzie, Paula Terry, Aaron G, Ebony Fay, TaQ, good-cool, Mr. T, and Akira Yamaoka, Riyu Kosaka and Be For U, and DANCEMANIA. They'll all be missed.

ESRB has published their info on the game
I can only confirm one song from this and that would be "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars. Anyone got any help when it comes to the music video descriptions?

This is a dancing simulation game in which players perform dance steps in time with arrow indicators that scroll from the bottom to the top of the screen. Player score points by hitting the corresponding panel/arrow on the dance pad to the beat of the music. A few music videos depict fleeting, sometimes choreographed acts of violence (e.g, a teenager getting punched in the face; men engaged in karate-style dance-fighting; a boxing match). Some videos include dancers, dressed in somewhat revealing outfits, who perform suggestive routines (e.g., the silhouette of a couple performing brief pelvic thrusts; bikini-clad women dancing around poles). Some songs include suggestive lyrics (e.g., “I think it's so sexy,” “Get down to business and skip foreplay,” and “In my head I see you all over me.').

I think the ESRB board has accurately described every pop music video made in the past 10 years
Those descriptions probably describe a Goldfrapp or B.O.B. song, to be honest.

stuff
omg yes
Paula Terry wrote her own lyrics, which is why many of them were really silly songs about LOVE LOVE LOVE AGAIN AND AGAIN TONIGHT and almost exclusively that, but she had her moments. L'amour et la liberte is such a beautiful song and certainly one of her best. I also really miss the BEMANI divas: JP Miles, Ebony Fay, Brenda Vaughan, and Robbie "Lobbie" Danzie. Even though we occasionally get a new song with Brenda V. we could definitely use more. I always loved Robbie Danzie a lot.

the silhouette of a couple performing brief pelvic thrusts
Is from In My Head, which has already been confirmed.
Quote
men engaged in karate-style dance-fighting
This is possibly the original Kung-Fu Fighting, as the video features two men karate-fighting/dancing in the background.
The other clues might be hard-ish to find, except perhaps for "a teenage getting punched in the face".

Also if it IS Carl Douglas' Kung Fu Fighting, would they use the steps from Dancing Stage Max?
I am rather foolishly hoping for Kung Fu by 187 Lockdown, though.

Kinda expected an ESRB description to be a lot less useful. Good to hear Just the Way You Are is what made it (at least, it really seems that way now).

But more important is more songs, at least 80 songs ++.
So it could be a chance for your favourite songs appear on DDR II.
Just maximize the size (Almost 4.5 Gb) that could hold more than 100 songs.

U1 has already stated on his Facebook that DDR II was originally too big to fit onto a Wii disc and they had to trim the size down to get it on.

I'm afraid it will affect the songlist amount too.
Must more than 50 songs as Konami promised before.

Some Nintendo and Sega games use 8GB discs.
Hottest Party doesn't use any music videos, and could fit on CD-ROM, but because if the videos, Hottest Party 4 is actually 4.11 GB of data, so it barely fits on a disc.

Also remember that DDR II is using short and full versions of all licenses and some (most?) Konami Originals, so that adds a bunch to the size there. Maybe that's why they were using this odd music video+stage thing on the DDR II demo:
Also: "Everybody's looking for love, ain't that the reason you're at this club". On-screen: *mini-mart parking lot*.

Am I the only one who thinks that Just the Way You Are is going to make a terrible DDR song? Especially if they plan on charting everything like they did in 2010 :/.
