as much as i like do it do it and icarus, i rarely play them in troopers because their charts are kind of shitty. I always play four pieces and steel needle though.

there's only a couple akira yamoka songs i like playing. Play back hate you and tant pis pour toi are my favorites chart-wise

The whole music-appreciation discussion can be put to an end with this: All those songs ain't got nothin on What's Next.
I'm sick of arguing about hardcore. It's gotten really old (even though I missed the blunt of it). I'd much rather "discuss" how amazing Slake is and how Choo Choo Train d'n'b mix makes me giddy.
But anyway, back on topic, I find myself playing Troopers at least 50% more than the other games. It's by far my favorite CS, and it's not because it's new. It's because the game is well put together.

My favorite style that I consistently go to more than any style is the 10th Style. The song selection is excellent, and this is one style where I'm close to clearing most of the 8's on normal (the standard 7 key mode). I STILL haven't figured out how to beat Rainbow Rainbow, No.13, Setsugekka, V, Innocent Walls, One or Eight, and a few other yet. Right now, my new goal is to DJ Level A Quasar on Standard mode. The another for Quasar is Insane, but not as insane as one more lovely another. BTW, Score is also Really, Really Fun...I recommend 10th Style to anyone looking for a old pre-Red Style to have in your collection...

To play IIDX and not own 10th style is a blasphemy. This we already know. :V
FPoH is misrated on Another, for sure, but I'm not sure about the hyper. Especially if you count Mendes. Steel Needle is damn hard, both to time and to hard clear.
But to be honest I haven't played the hypers in a while, this is just from what I remember.
