I'm screaming LOVE is actually a pretty interesting song. It's more earlier IIDX work or will fit on Pop'n Music. But I do agree it's a mixed bag. I like 3y3s the most out of all of these songs. But it's more BEMANI targetting girls to play IIDX. Us guys are going to play it because nothing feels better then being the top player in your Arcade.

But really everyone thought DJ Troopers was a joke. I myself looked for a song where you have to make the machine say "Meow" 10 times to complete it. EMPRESS will just have to grow on you a bit more then some of the other submissions since it's not targetted at us guys for once.

Everyone knows that IIDX will always be on PS2. I have all the consoles and I know that IIDX isn't HD Enough for a PS3.

Also I usually download the PS2 Releases before I purchase them but DJ Troopers I have been playing the songs all year so I just outright bought it on Play-Asia.

Personally, I think DJ Troopers will be my favorite IIDX mix. The last IIDX mix I enjoy playing at home is the 10th Style. Red was O.K but has some crazy hard songs like Gigadelic, Genocide, Go Berserk (my so called 3 G's of Red). Happy Sky is cool, but 100% Minimoo G gets crazy hard at the end with the scratches and notes. I don't have Distorted or Gold yet because of DJ Troopers, but I'll purchase them next year. BTW, while I'm talking about some old mixes, 6th Style wasn't too bad IMO. To me, 6th Style is a good mix for intermediate players who haven't played IIDX for a long time (I would see less than two years). The song selection is kind of "small" but there are a few gems. To me, some of the best songs are: The Strong Jaegar, Something Wonderful, The Theme of Denjin J, Hyper Boundary Gate, The Big Voyage (I guess you can see I'm a big L.E.D. fan), Parapara Paradise, and G2 (though I haven't cleared the 7 key notechart yet). Also, Drill Mode is not bad either. Helps you understand a little more about some complicated notecharts that you WILL be seeing over and over again in IIDX mixes....anyway, this is my rant for now....

Speaking of Empress, I have to agree with one person about I'm Screaming Love. The video is questionable, but I haven't been able to get this song out of my head...I wonder how Konami is going to handle this questionable song when it comes out as a CS release song. Will the video be intact, or will it (the video be replace with a generic IIDX random video). Hmmm....

My question on Empress is this. Is Empress suppose to be a IIDX supporting Gays.

Just asking this question, because some songs have a bit of a gay theme to them. Not that I have anything against Gays or Transgendered people.

My favorite chart so far is 凛として咲く花のごとく which look like they kinda just merged the charts from GFDM. But naughty girl@Queen's Palace is weird. The name doesn't fit the song. I love the song though. So far my favorite song is still 3y3s.
