To begin with it's at 110 bpm. The Ultramix one is at 220.
They did the same thing with Starmine, chart wise.

CHOCOLATE PHILOSOPHY chart

The two new charts aren't terrible but I can't really say I like them as much as you say you do, PerroXX. CHOCOLATE PHILOSOPHY feels too easy for what the song can do (Ultramix 4 chart is much more preferable), and High School Love is a bit messy, both in terms of 16th placements and in terms of patterning. I actually like the Valentine's Day charts we got last year more.

APPEND: Okay, so CHOCOLATE PHILOSOPHY exists and uses 24ths, that makes me feel a bit better. But in this case, they feel like token leaves on a dish rather than the real deal in terms of difficulty. There were so many other parts where they could have used them more.

Indeed, those charts are far from being difficult, but i feel this event in terms of the kind of songs offers a more calm atmosphere. The chart of CHOCOLATE PHILOSOPHY makes some justices but still is affordable.

I'm kinda ok with this, knowing also the Ultramix/Universe chart will not be carried over to the AC machines

You can see that now DDR A supports 3/4 and 5/8 measure line.

Very interesting; is this the first time DDR has ever indicated time signatures other than 4/4? (The only reference point I have is the super-old DDR Hottest Party 2, where osaka Evolved in Training Mode with guidelines on still displays 4/4, even though parts of the song are in 3/4.)

Also this has got to be the first time I've ever seen a 5/8 time signature.

Actually it was CUTIE CHASER that was the first DDR song with 3/4 measures. If you go into Edit Mode and select that song (also in DDRMAX US CS) the measures are in 3/4.

I agree. It’s nice to see some average difficulty songs. I’m a bit surprised CHOCOLATE PHILOSPHY's chart is that easy, though. A bit disappointing, but still looks fun to play. I’m pretty excited to try High School Love. It’s chart looks like a lot of fun to play. Both songs sound great. Good choices in my opinion.
