Have you ever tried taking the world record on a chart with a slowdown ending with one battery lifebar? You would think the challenge is the ending, but every other part of the chart with steps is still a not-Perfect risk. (of course, this chart's ending is currently unknown, which is even better)

Somebody already took the world record. A few pages before, somebody posted a picture of FEFEMZ posted a AAA of the chart on beginner, supposedly.

Since Dr. Dvids was so close and the latest the videos have been posted was since earlier this week, I don't see why it's taking forever.

If we go for that route is almost obvious that beating OT"P" will bring nothing to the table or at least it will unlock the other difficulties, we haven't seen anything of the Expert or Oni chart, also I posted the realistic expectation and the other ones are crazy since Omega could never EVER happen (never) and Go Beyond! could happen but not as a boss because of the way some IIDX songs are appearing (i.e. Mei, Beach Side Bunny, etc.)


I cannot judge if they want something, I can't tell someone "hey you!, what you're asking is stupid", I was one of the guys who thought that DeltaMAX would never make it to DDR, I ended up eating a lot of crow because of that, if they want some feature or song they can always go ahead and talk but it's not something to take serious.


Whatever, I'm actually excited because of what it could bring OT"P", also I want to see that Expert chart.


From what I saw of the video he was a couple steps from over, like 5-10 secs.

It was a mockup done in most likely Stepmania as a joke. Among other things you can see that it says "9th Stage" instead of "Encore Extra Stage" and the menu timer is at 99.

It also doesn't help a good chunk of this site does not have access to a machine that's anywhere near current, let alone getting far enough to even attempt OTP.

Seeing how Konami has done MFC stuff on various of their games. Yes. I did say a MFC Challenge.

I sort of feel like OT"P" is the last thing in RDI. Granted, completely baseless, but something just feels "Final Boss" about it. Anyways, if there is an MFC challenge after, it'd have to be on a REALLY easy chart or something, otherwise nobody would ever come close to doing it.

In regards to Axel's post: I'm pretty sure that MFC missions were only present on X2 CS, and even then, there were only a slim handful of those missions. Correct me if I'm wrong, of course.

No, this is pretty much correct. The hardest it ever got was getting it on La Senorita Virtual . Other games with missions only had PFC missions and even then only on short segments of songs like the opening to Only You in Extreme.

What are you talking about? It works fine. Besides, we could use more slower songs in DDR. Believe it or not, this is the first song this entire mix that has a BPM that's less than 100 throughout the song. I can't say I'm a huge fan of it, but it isn't bad either.

This new song is... not very good. At all. Shame.

True, but it's also TOTTO. So I expected at least something of value in that aspect.

It's not Touhou's fault to blame for the song being bad, Yukari's theme is one of my favorites if anything. I think the problem is that TOTTO just went in the wrong direction with the song, it definitely could've been better but not one of the worst songs by any means.

Pretty good, can't complain with 3L, wasn't expecting 16ths in the chart (is this a trend?).
Not sure how this is a bad song/doesn't fit in DDR.
